Land in Dun Scaith on my SGE, first boss is a bit rough with a lot of dead people, but we pull through it without a wipe somehow.
Second boss, nearly a full wipe because people can't seem to understand the simple fact of: if you don't know what a mechanic does, don't touch stuff. After healers were pulled off the floor and a couple LB3s went out to raise people, someone asks in chat "just so I know: are you supposed to turn the panel opposite?" I respond by confirming yes, make all panels the opposite of the debuff.
Fire/Water mechanic goes out again later, someone runs over some panels at the last minute after they'd all been changed properly. I say "can I ask why some people want to swap the panels right before the mechanic resolves properly?". Someone from B says, in typical garbage whiner fashion, "iT wASn'T exPlaINeD".
I point out yes, it literally was. Please learn to read the chat.
Cue a stupidly long argument of this person whinging the whole time about how "Well maybe we'd be more inclined to listen to mechanics if you didn't come off like such an ***hole". I just responded saying it'd benefit everyone if they stopped acting like a child. I get told to "alt-f4, it'll make everyone's day better"; classy, y'all. One person tried to defend me in the chat while the majority of the raid sided with the guy who was whining like an overgrown toddler about someone's tone.... which is hard to read over text regardless.
Sorry, if me being short and to the point with a mechanics explanation is "***hole-y", I desperately beg people to grow thicker skin.
