How would you rank all jobs by popularity?

AST being lasts, I'm unable to answer why. There seems to be 2 WHM for 1 AST.

Nah. Not to say there aren't problems, but this ain't it.

But AST has always been niche. The only way SE can get it to be more popular than WHM is if they massively, massively overbuff it (Like, say... anyone remember 20% DPS buff balance?) and even then it struggles. Even at its heights, not very many people like AST.

White mage, on the other hand, is often the most popular healer even when it's the weakest healer.

Pretty good example of the sort of stuff that lead to my earlier comment in my post about popularity not necessarily reflecting strength.

Or just get it right. I have been a WHM since 2.0, and I decided I would switch to AST for 6.0. I played with it a bit at the tail end of 5.0 and really like it. And guess what they do to AST in 6.0, they messed it up. The new abilities is nice, but they mess up the card system for no reason. AST is already bloated and the most busy healer to play with, and they decide to make it bloat even more.


Tbh, if they had kept the card system from 5.0, AST would be almost perfect now. But "if it ain't broke don't fix it" is not part of SE's philosophy.
