Anyone else think that the bozja relics look lazy?

Now looking through them -- GNB looks pretty good. DRK looks....I want to go back to Shadowbringer please.

I'm obviously biased, but GNB looks great. The rest are hit or miss. The SAM relic seems like a bit of a downgrade from the previous step but I still like it too in its own way. I'll take the smoldering red crystal look over whatever the Eureka relic got in the end any day of the week.

I like them going with this crystal theme for a change of pace from the glow effects.

The relics are hit and miss for me, but that's always the case anyway. I like the dancer and paladin ones and for me that's what matters. Black mage and a few others look neat too.

I'm very disappointed by them... The only ones that look good IMO are the WHM and GNB ones. I was really looking forwards to them looking good, because I'd do lots of them as content in these 6 months before endwalker.


It kinda feels like they limit themselves and purposefully hold back on relic design because the weapons from ultimates need to look better.

Very lazy and very disappointing.

These weapons had so much promise back in the Recollection step, but they've been downhill ever since then.

The augmented law's order weapons had the most uninspired looking "glow" I think I've ever seen in this game, and the weapons we got today just look unfinished.

The crystal-like teardrop-shaped parts should rotate around the weapons like the Alexander 12 Savage weapons, then maybe they'd look nice...but as they stand? Nah. Worst finished relics we've ever had, and that's not hyperbole.

You don't need to do 30 raids. You can just do 30 skirmishes and 15 CEs in each area until the final quest.

WHM is the only decent, yet again with the butterflies. Everything else is crap.
