SE, the concept of "Limited Jobs" is a really bad idea, turn back now

I'm on the camp with other posts in the past, if you see a job guage by 70, then i wouldnt roll with the abandoned part, personally. I think that limited status is just them hashing it out, they knew better when they said in the past things like RDM/BLU wouldnt make it because itd be too hard to implement the right way etc. Understandably the player base getting a little impatient due to what seem like touch ups or bandaids around the whole thing. But who knows, maybe you will finally get to do a relic through Eureka. We won't know till the patch hits sadly, and logically will probably be the part 2 patch as well I see alot of veins bulging in anticipation. Best thing they could do is let you queue solo in the BLU Duty Finder they added

Queueing in solo duty as a blue mage is probably one of the real band-aid that could lead to good things. because it's one of many thing that makes playing Blue mage difficult. The nature of blue mage being not a real job leads to a train-y hype based content that once everyone done with it, you will have a really hard time playing the job itself. blue mage PF aren't so alive at patch drought and on main patch we're doing savage contents. it's almost impossible to do BLU contents once you're late if you happens to be on a raider heavy data center.

We still need to see what will be the addition in the patch beside the level cap in the next blue update. Maybe we will see class mechanic update or maybe not. But for certain, its hard to find party to do blue contents. Hope they fix something like this first.

Absolutely, I did however find a group in PF the other day and grabbed a skill or two i hadnt had, but for sure theres an empty interest in it this part of the content cycle. I also just want to remind people that balancing jobs seems to take forever, for the regular jobs at times, and so i pretty much accept that they will be taking a while for it to be implemented sadly.

i know right? people who are legitimately having issues with the job, pointing out flaws about the current blue mage and coming up with ideas to at least make it playable. and yet a troll spammer just straight up find it fitting to dismiss everything, on every thread, with no reason whatsoever what makes it fine. So funny.

on another note, it's great that at least they are not neglecting it completely. i was scared that they're gonna keep the same pace for the future expansions too, thankfully it seems with this pace they'll catch up in the next expansion

Adding to that, they should also insert a Random duty roulette there, with a daily reward, so it would create a steady influx of Blue Mages running random dungeons.

Another thing that would help immensely is a Blue Mage dungeon entry for Wondrous Tails.

I don't think BLU is going to get a Eureka weapon, they didn't bother adding dancer or gunbreaker relics there so I don't really see them touching up Eureka to accommodate blue mages. I could be wrong but I wouldn't expect anything more than more Carnival fights and some achievements for doing SB content in all BLU parties.

Ah that is a good point to consider, then. Would be sad as at least for BLU that is their max level for a while. At the same time, no ARR/HW relics available so would be odd to see them make a SB available at this point.

i hope we see bst soon since we see it be added in lvl 80 final weapon

personal i think a few more limit jobs would be helpful for blu. they add job similar to blu which tank job like arcane duelist which weild twin scimatar is mage tank which focus dodge attack it may make player stop demand for blu t obe gone. i think the next expansion will feature a healer job and range dps and bst limit jobs which they make pet base lvling pet aswell. i still think give limit job quest hub in dungeon would a good ideal.

geomancer and ranger i hope with hawk pet focus bleed and burn damage effect or frost bite effect

see here my issue with players they think ffxiv is like ffxi but it not it fill with expansion possiblity
you could 3 or 4 more expansion add more jobs. first balance out the job current we have 4 tanks 3 healer 4 melee 3 range dps.
next expasnion could be 2 addition expansion jobs and 1 limit jobs.
the expansion after that could be 2 more jobs and one limit job. dodge mage like duel wieild scimitar mage called ether aether duelist or arcane duelists. then add medic or chemist i pefer medic because i want SE have time improve summoner. gambler could add too we got alot pirate run around so a gamble job seem a likely possiblity a point.
