I think the duty finder fights are actually addressed. I forgot which quest it was that I just recently did but one of the Scions said to 'gather all those adventurer friends you always seem to have' so the characters know.

Another one is after the ARR patches where you're ran out of Ul'Dah and have to escape. BEFORE you meet the Admiral again, all the times you teleport back to check on GC ranks, or die and spawn at home, or have to go back and don't have wanted signs of yourself posted everywhere or being chased as a fugitive lol.

Actually, there's a single other moment

When G'raha summons champions from another shards in our last fight against Emet. Funny thing is that's likely also the only fight in the game where silly glamours can be considered 'canon' since the heroes in question could be doing anything before being yeeted to the First.

It admittedly looked so dumb doing that with any non-melee job. I was a SCH, guess I slapped her with my book offscreen.

You mean Lyse finally decided to "hit" the books and or you just decided to throw the book at her... =P

This is mentioned by several npcs in the towns if you talk to them during those stages of the msq...

Several are sympathetic and say they won't turn you in because they don't believe that you are guilty.

There's even some too scared of you to act against you.
