Here's another thought: we'll also likely be able to exchange 24-man coins for the tome weapon upgrade tokens too once Pagos is out. Which means essentially everyone will be able to access i370 weapons without bothering to do Pagos, as long as they can do normal Sigmascape and the current two 24-man raids. Sure, they'll lack the glam and the extra materia slots, but given they'll all be outdated shortly that's more or less moot. Still, you'll need Pagos before you can do the next step in Eureka, and I'm sure there'll still at least be minions, mounts, and other goodies people tend to like. I do agree that we should have had this at the same time as HoH though. Not everyone really does deep dungeons, anyway (myself included, as I still haven't even gotten around to getting past floor 50 of PotD). Might as well have had both options available, but guess that wasn't in the cards.

The Anemos relic is useless. So is all the gear. Everything was obsolete before it even came out.
Looks like Pagos is going to be more of the same, too. Unless it's all 370+ five slot, it will be garbage.

The weapon is 370 with 5 slots. Other gear wont get upgraded till next tier.

Wow, if that's correct it'll enjoy 6 weeks of marginal relevance before being relegated to "oh maybe at the back end of 4.5 you'll get another update"

Frankly I expect(ed) them to cap it at 365 ... to further reinforce its utter uselessness to anyone but glam collectors, returnees who logged in after a 6+ month absence and virtual masochists. (Categories not mutually exclusive)

Man, they really dropped the ball on the relics for SB eh? Here we are like a month away from the final raid tier's release and all we have is the equivalent of the i200 Awoken weapons from HW. You know, the stepping stone weapon with the fancy glow that was promptly replaced with the REAL weapon IN THE SAME UPDATE.

First relic released right next to the final raid tier. Think about that.

It's okay to be that kind of person, but that doesn't mean that it should be forced onto others, nor should you need SE to be controlling the stream of content for you to keep on being that kind of person.

If SE were to release fewer and larger chunks of content, you'd still be able to leave things for later, through this thing called self-control.

Relic weapons are always outdated on the next even patch, though. It doesn't matter how close to the next patch it comes out. It probably won't take any time at all to get the new weapon.

This is not even a relic for me, this is nothing else than the palace or hoh weapons because you are repeating the same shit over and over again. Yes relics had these steps too but at least you had also other steps inbetween.
