Excluding Players from Ultimate Savage is Not the Right Move

This thread is ridiculous... "Why make people clear O4S to get to an even harder raid?" That is obvious. Simply wanting to go see it is not a valid reason because such content is, quite frankly, not made to be a spectacle. If anything, allowing people that have not proven their worth is inviting wipes, not to mention being a burden to people that have earned the right to challenge the raid, as they will simply wanting to leech/be carried to enjoy the content. Hardcore raiding is a privilege given to players that want a true challenge, not just some more content to breeze through or take in the sights and see cool bosses like the rest of the game. Those players who can emerge victorious from such a challenge can feel proud of what they have achieved, because it is not something everyone can do, and while that may seem unfair well, frankly, that's life. You don't see people saying they should be able to skip going to school/college to legally become a lawyer or doctor just because they want to experience the job now do you?

Gonna be as blunt and sincere as possible:

You're a casual player. Casual content is abound and plenty. Some others aren't casual players. Content for them is precisely the content you're crying about.

If you have NOT cleared O4S, you should have no business going into Beyond Savage. That's the whole point. Stop crying about it and go back to the casual content they've laid out for you.

Not saying casuals are bad, either: I'm just saying the following extra-hard content isn't for them. That's all.

A few already mentioned this, but the whole game is made with content "locked away". Normal mode is needed to go to Hard Mode, and then Extreme. Again, normal mode needed to go on Savage. Ultimate is an extension of Savage, why shouldn't it be locked behind clearing savage again?

And please, let's stop with this "95% of the player base doesn't have access to it" when I don't see you complaining that you can't go straight to Omega 4 Savage without clearing 1-3 before. Everyone has the same opportunity to do the same content.

And if that doesn't convince you guys, think like a single player game: There are tons of achievements and stuff to unlock, but some are hard enough that only a small % managed to do it. Are you complaining to single game developers that you paid the same as everyone and should have everything unlocked too?

Also, just FYI for those chiming about Savage not being gated: it IS gated. You need to beat O1S to get to O2S and so on. Beat O4S and THEN you get to do the big boy/big girl stuff.

Now I'm waiting for the post of ppl complaining that yokai watch event will be back again and this make them feel less special cause "they fought so hard to get all this itens and now other ppl will be able to get it too =( what a tragedy =~~~~", please look forward to it!

Just to stay on topic, it'll be awesome that only ppl that cleared O4S will be able to get to the ultimate, it's already hard enough this will make easier for ppl queuing on party finder to make sure that only experienced ppl are queuing for it too.

I'm ok with the requirements. IMO, it's better to get to harder content from completing another hard content. It feels more rewarding that way.

So does this mean that for example disabled people who have a cognitive disorder should never be able to do Savage content because they will never be able to clear it anyway and they have no business being there? It's a very poor argument. It makes no difference if people can or can't clear it. It harms absolutely nobody that they can have a taste of the content regardless.

No one said Savage content isn't allowed lol. Anyone is free to try. Most people can clear o1s and o2s easily in party finder. Takes some practice and time to clear o3s and takes more time and patience to clear o4s. See how it is in sequence order? And the next ones will be this Ultimate Savage. Get the point? I am glad the complaint is only based on content being locked behind whatever gate, not the actual real complaint people could have, that it drops a weapon after completion and that the weekly lockout gate doesn't apply. I'll wait a couple of hours and read the complains in either this topic or the new created about that. Will be a entertaining night
