Why are you taking a picture? Run! Gosh, people these days with their smartphones!

Personally I like how events are that, just events. I hated the events in WoW where players had to go back every day for five days and collect tokens from dailies, and if you miss 15%-20% of the days you won't get all the toys you want. That was bad. It didn't feel like I was a guest in the event, it felt like I was a staff member who had to be there to make it work.

Granted, FFXIV events can quiet down really quickly, but at the same time people often aren't just rushing from quest to quest so they can get it over and done with and return to their other dailies. I don't see the problem of finishing it in 10 minutes.
