Yep, I even copy past the PF.
And it did not happen just once.....now I jut stopped reporting them cause I won't waste my time on something useless considering SE does not care at all about its players base not having access to some of the feature they pay a sub for...
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
Yea it all depends on the GM, I reported someone one time saying they were selling a small house for 50 million gil in PF, later that day the person was on the forums making a rage post about how they got a warning on their account about it, so there are people that get in trouble for it.
Just so you know, I tried to "buy" a medium plot in the Goblet....the "seller" asked for 40.000.000 Gils.
To those not in favor of re-work, do you really find this normal when the plot was sold 7M by SE ? -_-

You're good at the game? You're an elitist.
You're using a parser to better yourself? Elitist.
You're making suggestions on how someone can improve themselves? E l i t i s t.
You wipe a farm party constantly but you're having fun playing your way. Nah you're fine dude.
This community astounds me at times.

Haven't checked recently but was also full last time I looked, that and is not quite the same system with lesser features and options. :3
Also weird you get a FC room and an apartment, SE really likes to add redundant and stacking related systems.
SE to players late to the search for a home:

Free Company's Private Chamber + an apartment are a great combo, even better if you have your own cottage/house/mansion!...
I wish we could own one apartment in every single state, don't underestimate them, whether you live in them or not they can always be used for other purposes like storage rooms and whatnot!...

I'm having a hard time thinking of a way in which what you are trying to say makes sense but it is eluding me.And we aren't asking for special privelages - simply the same privelage that those who haven't bought one yet have. You don't get special privileges for having beaten other people to purchasing a home beforehand.
You aren't paying double the cost of someone buying a new plot, you're both paying the same price for the same plot. Whether or not a player has an existing plot does not factor into the purchase of a new one. It is an independent purchase because it's not the same plot you already have. The way the housing purchase in the game works you are basically paying for the deed for the land i.e. the right to construct a building on it. The cost of the actual house building permit is separate.
If you were being forced to move then you may have a case for you not getting your "full use" of your house but it is by your own decision and choice that you are abandoning it so that argument is not valid.

If you couldn't tell by my lack of response over the last couple of days, I have abandoned the idea that people on either side will ever agree with each other. This argument has been going in a massive circle and I am just flat out tired of it. Both arguments just get rebuttled by opinions that defines what they consider to be a fair and just system and neither are likely perfect so there is really no resolve to this.
SE will either include private estate owners in the move feature or they won't. Whichever option they see in their opinion, is the most fair to players on both sides of the fence (no pun intended).
I however would love an official response, as would a number of us that have also been begging throughout this thread for one, so that those who do own private estates can at least prepare. Whether that be to save up the gil for a relinquish > buy a new plot, or to save up for some kind of moving fee, or the least likely option - and that is to not have to worry about it at all..
