I'd like them to put Physical and magical defense values on the shield about the same as the values for arm pieces to give PLD much more survivability, and add some traited boosts to resistance to status attacks, along with an enmity boost. PLD DPS sucks, and I have no issue with that as long as it's sufficient for Solo. But in party content, PLD should require much less healing effort to care for than WAR or DRK, that would set it apart. But, SE won't do that because they would be afraid that it would let PLDs overcome mechanics and generate complaints from other tanks about that - even though their DPS is significantly higher than PLD. As long as SE models everything on all 3 tanks and all 3 healers being almost identical in capability when in party content, then we won't see any revamp, and people will gravitate to the tank and healer that raid groups prefer.
