The thing with the Interdimensional Rift is that it has always been assumed that the Rift is always the same in the Final Fantasy franchise, reason why it's believed Gilgamesh is the same character in all FF appearances, same with Omega, that would make our Omega a dimension hopper.

The Bend of Time makes no sense as a subtitle for Interdimensional Rift, if anything it might be an area of the Rift named after CC's Bend of Time.

Evidence of damage is present, but the angles we've been shown don't show how much damage there is.
I feel like you guys are confusing Yanxia with Doma, Yanxia is right outside Doma according to the map.

These should be Yanxia as well

I'd like to point out that that the assumption that all Gilgameshes, Omega and Shinryu are one is a fancon assumption that the devs like to play with rather than an actuality. Only a few Gilgameshes are confirmed dimension hoppers and even those are not explicitly the same.

The Bend of Time is actually a fairly good description of the Interdimensional Rift in FFV. It was a place were time and space were warped or bent. You actually pass through a time frozen Phantom Village.

Also the Chrono Cross Bend of Time is actually a reference location to Chrono Trigger's End of Time.

From the Keynote - "It is in Yanxia that you will find the second city that you must help liberate in Stormblood, Doma." That first picture is the one they switch to as that is being said.

Also, on the map Yanxia is the Region name (like Coerthas) and Doma is the city name (like Ishgard).

But I didn't say otherwise? I said "it's believed", aka not confirmed.

I don't know, the name seems too specific to be a coincidence and not be a reference to CC.

You're right, so it is Doma.

Yanxia is region Doma is in, just like Ul'dah is in Thanalan, or as a better example, (New) Sharlayan is in Dravania. In the latter case, one of the zones we got was the ruins of Sharlayan - it just wasn't called that. Based on what we've seen, it seems like we may only get one zone per region in this expansion (which is very disappointing, usless they're twice the size of HW zones).
