I honestly wouldn't mind them putting a lot of time into actual mini-games that are arcade style and relatively quick (max time of 5min but average 2min per play sort of thing, depending on game).

    - A simple brawler like Final Fight/Streets of Rage/River City Ransom/Double Dragon with unlockable characters based on achievements related to the mini-game. This one could go on longer to maybe 10 or 20min. Single or party play.
    - A shmup style (bullet-hell) game. Personally, I think it'd be nice to have a bit of depth and ease to it with shields, akin to Giga Wing. A simpler bullet-hell shooter that was fun to play repeatedly (partly due to different ships and minor ways to alter gameplay). Single or party play.
    - A fighting game that doesn't need to be as complex looking as that one they showcased. Make it simple, like the original Street Fighter 2 or older Tekken games. It doesn't have to follow modern conventional JP fighting games, with all the flashy effects and stuff. Open to both single player and random versus. Gaius or some raid boss is the final fight? Maybe a 2.0 MSQ storyline to single player. Maybe add unlockable characters or something to it.
    - A simple 8 or 16-bit RPG combat simulator. Let us tackle bosses or other NPCs, ideally with (some) RNG elements thrown in for difficulty. Would love to take on the Butt man.

Honestly, these sorts of games would probably be difficult to maintain and introduce, but it wouldn't be impossible. Server load would probably be the biggest issue here. It'd really bring me back to the old days of arcades, where people would be crowding around games like Tekken, SF2, MvC2, etc. Lore wise, given we have that Cactaur screen, which appears to be a digital screen rather than some generic sign with a picture, and something as technologically complex as LoV, I'd say we're safe on that part. The shmup would probably be the hardest to do and likely least potential to be done, given the need for graphics to always be kept on par and the slow speed of the game. But hey, if the RPG part might be a candidate, I don't see why they wouldn't be able to bend the rules of physics a little or downgrade the graphics for the shmup too.
