I think I'm more inclined to take the remnenta of The Omega Weapon and Summon a Primal into it to restore it.

Then take the Omega Primal and Blow Up Zodiark (along with the Moon if need be) all the while sapping the last of Hydaelyn's power and being rid of them both.

Like Caius Ballad in FF13-2 I'm getting a little sick of God's and Goddesses playing with mortals like toys then throwing us away when they are finished with us.

To that end, I would summon Bahamut Sin, The Omega Primal, and bring in an age without Gods be they primal, crystal, or otherwise.

Isn't the planet itself tied to/connected to Hydaelyn.

I mean, do what you feel ya gotta do, but I figure generally ushering in an age of something requires a place to usher that age in to.
