A: We mentioned this one month before the release of Heavensward. Since then, we have been finalizing Heavensward and we’re currently working on adjustments for jobs, so we haven’t been able to address this just yet. We need to create effects for all the egi actions when their appearance changes, so it’ll require some time. We still have to decide whether we'll add these as we’re done with each one, or add them all at once, so please give us some more time.

yes that is the statement. It is mentioned but not promised, since they are working on balancing the game more. But that doesn't mean they won't implement it; you just have to wait.

So we wait and wait and wait? I mean as much as it seems to bring hate, its been a complaint too long and they trolled with the level 50 quest about Ramuh egi. This needs to end, just get it done, I work as an animator, it would not take me 100 years to get animations done, just get it done. I know it takes time, but you can't troll or mention something and give nothing, do one at a time already. Sorry but it feels completely unfinished, I love DoT and the pets but not to where I can't use one ever except solo so glamour my Caster Garubutt to look like Titan and have a Caster Titan, someone said they should have Attacker type egi with a sword symbol, Tank with shield, and Caster has a Staff. Its done, I love ffxiv and enjoy the summoner but truly why is it so far away. I don't mean to rant or cause ripples but this is my passion to see the pets be used more.

Titan is our pocket tank. Ive seen him used to tank ramuh and twintania because people were having fun though.
Garuda is our aoe beast, but for her to be any use you need to set her to obey and control her directly. a killer aoe combo is to apply bio2 maisma and bio, order ruda to contagion, once that hits bane the dots to all enemies, painflare,garudas aoe attack while youre casting shadowflare, pop the two pet buffs and then use garudas super, painflare again. everything should be dead or super close at this point.
Ifrit is a beast dps, great for single target and bosses who dont move.

the glamours are taking so long because theyre doing animations and whatnot too. hopefully we'll get some with 3.1 at the least. itd be nice to have the carbuncles back. id also kill for leviathan and bahamut egi glamours.

Titan is hella useful in Dungeons if your tank sucks, which happens a lot in DF.
