Well it's pretty clear that you just missed everything I just said since I wasn't even talking about A2S and that's the only Alex floor where Abyssal Drain would be worthwhile so I'll assume that's what you're talking about. Yes, in the case of A2 Savage, you could spend your mana on Dark Arts Abyssal Drain, however, a good group will stun all the mobs in a large group making it completely not worthwhile. Furthermore, since things are getting stunned so frequently you'll never really have Blood Price getting you back massive amounts of mana. If you want to spend a third of your mana pool that you cannot regen easily on a mediocre heal, then go ahead, but if I was going to use Dark Arts on Abyssal Drain, I'd rather just use 2 more Abyssal Drains at the cost of not using Dark Arts. If you're in a scenario in A2 where you're desperate enough for a heal from Abyssal Drain, then chances are you were probably going to die to begin with. If you weren't desperate for a heal, then that mana would be better spent on 2 more Abyssal Drains. Point being that Dark Arts Abyssal Drain doesn't heal for enough compared to the amount of damage you receive in order to sustain it with Blood Price therefore it's not worth using unless you have a bunch of things hitting you for a ridiculously low amount of damage.
