Yes it isnt as straightforward as F3 F1 spam B3 rinse and repeat, and fights require you to time things right but it really isnt as bad as some of you make out to be. And from what -i've seen, some of the whiners use scathe (because their mobility skills were non-existent) in AF, which is kinda joke when you consider the preaching they do on here.

Cast next spell before puddle, dodge sc spell, dodge and then cast next spell as soon as out of puddle, It works out better.

You are assuming Swiftcast is always up. What if you already used it on a previous Earthshaker or during Mega Flare ?

Personally I have 692 SSPD and Selene up during last phase most of the time, but not all people have that luxury. In which case, Scathe isn't a DPS loss, just make sure to go into UI3 before using it. You almost always have time to switch from AF3 to UI3 before any mechanic.

Thats a fair point and I agree with you about the UI3.

My point was more aimed at BLMs who I see just scathe and move early instead of casting and making full use of the time they have.

The first set of earthshakers, you don't have that luxury. First set of Earthshakers out of the final phase, that luxury doesn't exist either. There are multiple times in which Swiftcasting through earthshakers isn't an option.
