Rare dyes obtainable through other means?

I just want to know the Retainer level requirements to be able to get them at all.

Yes they can, il103 is higher than the actual item level needed, just got told by a friend il80 is the minimum amount.

Thanks. Been wanting some silver and pitch black dye for a while so I reset my retainers to GLD and LNC (My only lvl 50s) so that I can max them out and slap some of my old gear on them. So A few weeks of retainer leveling and I should be good for the search then. (I hear quick ventures rewards are tied to item level as well so maybe I'll find even more cool stuff than normal)

maybe relay an increase in the dye retrieval rate?
I would much rather just have better odds then trading in unwanted dyes (although that is NOT a bad suggestion!! I will take anything lol)

-I have recieved literally enough fish to fill an ocean...twice
-enough copper nails to build a city
-enough sweet cream and butter to feed that city
-enough furniture to fill a city

but enough rare dye to dye 1 set of clothes...its wayyyy off lol,..please consider increasing retrieval rate as well!

It's not that dyes drop very rarely - it's that the dyes we WANT seldom drop. I get gold dye every once in a while, however what I really wanted was silver!
And all those pink dyes and light purples and baby green's...... I'm never going to use those - at all.

I have no current use for MGP, having them sell metallic and pastel dyes would actually give me a never ending use for MGP.

So yeah. I'm for this idea.

Yeah, sick of getting gold and silver myself along with every pastel colour...... what i want is white and black.
