


server will need upgrade for that I guess, just 1 roam primal (Odin) is enough to cause mass 90k and lag and etc in 1 location. More will be worst ,and lets not mention summon them in a battle field w/o any dangerous ._.

and with that I absolutely agree. One of my hopes is that the cool down for Enkindle is drastically reduced or the potency goes way up. I just don't want SE to completely change the job to something it is not. My advice is just to be patient and wait for Heavensward to see what new toys we get to play with.
FC Summoning probably got canned because it would cause a lot of people to unsub. Larger FC with 200+ people with 50 active would camp the roaming Primals and capture them while smaller FC's wouldn't even have a chance to capture the Primals causing massive FC merges or destroy the community because the forums will be flooded with SE killed our FC which is why I'm quitting the game threads.
It's easier balance wise to give the Summoner an Incarnate Summoning spell then to have FC Summoning
As a beta 2 and 3 and I think there was 4 ? Can't remember that far back, there was no summoner. It was included on the release though, which could suggest it was a rushed job. But it could also mean they didn't want to give the surprise away. As a response to people who wonder why some people think it was a rushed job

SE could give the Summoner a DoT phase and a Burts Phase where under the influence of Aetherflow they summon the Primals by absorbing the Egi into their body and transform into the Primal consuming Aetherflow stacks to perform special abilities. The draw back are without any Aetherflow stacks the Primal is useless because we can only auto attack with them and the Summoner disappears because having the Summoner and Primal out at the same time will be OP.

SE should give SMN 2 stances: Yuna and Rydia.
Entering either stance turns you into them. They should also have Grand Summon with an instant cast and 0 second cooldown that, when used, puts the whole party in a 5 min cut-scene where the summon basically destroys the whole instance you're in.
They could give make Summoner's like they were in Final Fantasy a Tactic Advance where they have huge mp reserves and can summon temporarily summon the primal and have it absorb Aetherflow stacks to use its special abilities providing Insane AoE Burts Damage.

In FFTA they played like they did in tactics. You cast the spell and an animated gif appears on screen while a magic effect happens in the background. And Aetherflow wasn't a thing in FFTA. Please stop rewriting history to fit your narrow view on what summoners should be.

Not to defend Akiza or anything, but I think what s/he/whatever is trying to suggest is a merger of XIV's style with Tactics Advanced. I say think because the grammar of that pitch is...lacking to say the least.Why must you turn this forum into a house of lies?
