Patch 2.55 new card NPC's and changes to rules & card sets.

I am up to around 165-170 wins against her but still no Lighning card too.

Maybe is is an April fools joke or 4chan style trolling but I hope I am wrong and that it does drop from that NPC.

I'm on the around the same amount of wins too. Still nothing.

Just RNG bad luck. I got Bahamut in like 30 wins, my friend STILL doesn't have it after playing since patch week. Those of us that got lucky were just that.

I've never placed high in a tourney and I have Lightning from Tataru.

And she is really no fun to play against with Random.

It took me 20 matches before she dropped hers for me. 15 losses, 3 ties, 2 wins. I was really surprised.

I've been fighting her for hours and all she's given me is her stupid tataru and uranger card.

I'm so glad I spent a lot of time and effort getting a 60 card deck just to get countered with a stupid rule like Random on the "new" NPC.

So alright, I'll take the Random rule. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that I got absolute trash hands each time, with the majority of my hand being one star cards, whereas she has a consistent hand of VERY good cards that are near impossible to counter unless getting lucky with the Plus or Reverse rule.

Kay, cool. Except for the fact when she ALWAYS SEEM TO KNOW what cards I have in my hand, albeit trashy ones. She always seems to place her lightning in the bottom right hand corner to defend against the one card that has a top 8 when she gets to go first. She also places her Lightning in the mid right when she knows I can't take it just to taunt me.

Seriously, Square? You know how much Random SUCKS on an NPC. You have sucked the fun out of it and have made it beyond frustrating at this point. Stahp it.

That's what happened with mine, farmed her for days now and got Vaan because of it yet after almost 250 wins against her still no Lightning. Then again I have had bad luck a lot with TT especially gold packs, finally got Zidane after spending 250k MGP on gold packs but still no Warrior of Light. RNG sometimes sucks when your on the wrong end of it.

I'm in the same boat as you but with the Zidane card. I've spent nearly 200K MGP on gold packs... still no Zidane, but 2 Warriors of Light. RIP

The RNG in this game really blows sometimes. I guess it all balances out somehow in the end cause I got my Bartz card from Battle in the Big Keep on my first clear. >.>

Tataru is weak on the right. Bait her by playing a card top left and you should be able to get lucky often.

I would love to bait like that. However, as I stated, the random/roulette rule keeps me from having any kind of reliable strategy for that. If I bait with a card, she 90% of the time has a Hildi that just takes it and I'm left with my crap cards that random ALWAYS gives out and can do nothing but give into the inevitable defeat. That's the whole purpose of what I was talking about. They nerfed Swift because of this same thing, yet turn right around and add in the "new" NPC with just as bad, if not worse, rules. It makes no sense whatsoever and I see it as a giant middle finger to us, to be honest. A random rule is not how you make this interesting or more fun. All it does is make it extremely frustrating and disappointing that they couldn't think of anything better.
