Why do people play Lalafell?

I didn't think much about Lalas at all and wasn't keen on just how many there were and this whole 'masterrace' thing... then I made a lala version of my main and, I must admit, I was very OuO at just how FUN they are to play as. Seemed like everything became "WHEEEEEEEEE!" rather than "omg am I doing this right?" xD

Can confirm even on JP server people commend lalafells for being so cute when dead.

It's true. Lalas get a pass on JP servers. When joining a party to be able to run Coil was a thing, you were MUCH more likely to be invited if your name was something like Zezezazu Zazu. XD

I always play small races in MMOs: Popori in Tera, Asura in GW2 and Lalafell in FF14. They have by far the best animations. They are funny, and cute, and generaly played by persons who don't take themselves too seriously. Lalafell forever <3

I created a Lalafell, because in my opinion, they have the best emotes and animations. The only animation that I dislike off the Lalafell is the Ninja running one. They are adorable and remind me of Kid Link.

I play Lala because I think its funny and I like to entertain people with glamours. Right now my WAR has Titan axe with a metallic gold best man's suit and metallic silver gloves and shoes.

I WILL SAY - a couple of my static members were pseudo-bitching that it was too hard to see me moving around when they needed to avoid me. Maybe a fantasia to a giant Roe in a metallic gold suit would be a good response...

I like cute things. Tried Miqo'te for a few weeks, but I came right back to being a Lalafell. They just have great emotes and just overall cuteness, everything feels more fun as the master race.

Personally, because I find it amusing tro play a badass character like a Ninja or Marauder that looks like a 6 yr. old.

In FFXI I played mainly Taru which is the same for those who never played FFXI, I also had a alt that wasn't.
Taru gets allot more attention, a lot more popular and people automatically think someone who plays a little person is much nicer.
They also get picked on more. I dont know how many times someone said they would like to just punt a taru or god your head is bigger than your body...
I am playing Miqo'te in FFXIV though because I got tired of only being as high as my girlfriends knees.
