Nice lol 1.5-2k damage? It's a good thing my whm has over 6k hp solo and un food buffed. Pair it up with swiftcast stoneskin, good heals and decent dps with my good buddy mr. Chocobo and i think it should be a breeze to solo most of the maps.I just soloed this map that has brought so much anger among people xD. It consists of a golem and 2 spawn sets of 5 bombs. Guys, it is VERY easy! All you have to do is realize when the bombs spawn, and go full damage on them, they go down VERY FAST, and they don't move until 10-15 seconds. If you ignore them, as I just said after 10-15 seconds they basically start running towards you and blow themselves up. Each one roughly does 1.5k-2k damage so it's easy to be instagibbed. Basically, you need to give them the same treatment you would give to Ifrit's Nails or Titan's heart.

Considering a healer with full i110 left side gear and a 115 weapon and 30 stat points in VIT will be around 5500 hp, grats on having 40+ VIT worth of accessories on?
But yes, all the maps are soloable with out too much difficulty when a person knows what to do on them. I think for the first couple days it's just unfortunate that a lot of people had to learn the hard way that certain approaches and precautions must needs be taken.
Chocobos are your friends even when no one else is.
Set your home to the same zones aetheryte
And possibly have a small variety of antidotes, Hi-elixirs, etc available.

If you've ever been in Central Shroud you would know that Haukke Manor (the map location) is at least a 3 minute run. Good luck on that one.1) You don't lose the map because you die.
You lose the map if you run out of time, or leave the zone.
Get raised in same zone before time runs out and you have a chance of finishing it.
2) If you didn't risk losing the map by failing to complete it in time, there'd be no point in having the map to begin with. They could just give you the Alexandrite as the quest reward or from paying 800 myth.
Your second point is stupid - to put it nicely (it's OFs after all). That's like saying if you can die in T9 and retry it there would be no point having the turn to begin with - just give people their weapon from completing turn 8!

As a WHM, I really recommend you to go where the bombs are and Holy, Swiftcast Holy. They'll die in 3 seconds and you will take zero risk. If you try to buff yourself up and take all the hits, it might be a bit more risky. Remember there's a golem hitting you, so even if you SS yourself, by the time the bombs start running towards you that SS might be almost at its 30% potency or something (unless you Swiftcast SS yourself right before bombs explode to you...but again, very risky), and bombs do a lot of damage trust me. You are better off using holy and getting rid of them.
I helped a friend do three maps yesterday. The morbol, the succubus trio and a bunch of lizards.
Risk: 1/10 (if present), 6/10 (if you afk)
Attention level required: 2/10
Difficulty: 1/10
And this is content meant for people that are, literally, carrying a level 100 weapon with them.
All I'm going to say is the complains in this thread are pathetic and it's no wonder I've seen some of your faces on the other threads asking to nerf different content. Yes, yes, I get it, "it's not that it's hard, it's that <insert convoluted excuse>". Right.

Because people can? or should be able to? They can be solo'd, like a good amount of Peisteskin Maps and tbh the Novus Maps are more challenging Solo, than doing a Peisteskin Map solo. Of course Peisteskin Maps are not meant to be solo'd and some you can't due its time limit, but the Novus Maps are intended to be done solo. If you bring people along, thats fine as well if you can't do it solo.
Anyways on Topic..
Did 4 Drakes yesterday and like the others, you can't outsprint them. Done as DRG+Choco. They Frontal Cone AoE a LOT... so i would suggest to move a lot, which can suck for positioning on combos. But yeah, those felt easier than Morbol or Golem.
Nowhere does it say "This content is meant to be done solo". Unlike, you know, the instances that literally ask you to be out of party to enter.Because people can? or should be able to? So if you are doing content alone that isn't tagged as "solo only" why do you need a warning telling you there's a risk on trying to solo this content? (That's the whole argument in this thread)

I don't need a warning? I guess that was someone else saying that. The Map only rewards the person who initiated it, so you can assume it is not meant to be done with more than one, but allows you to do so. Like i said, they are challenging if done solo, and if you want to bring 8 people noone will stop you.
