Other people do the same thing. However, when they bring the price per item down too low, and cut into the profit margin too deeply, I simply do not restock, and allow the price to come back up. If I get undercut, I simply wait it out, wait for the other sellers' stock to be sold, and mine, by default, becomes the cheapest on the market once more, at the price I'd set it at a few days or even a week ago. I will play the market, but only to a point. When the price drops below that point, I simply wait.
Its not fast, its not even all that steady (depends upon the demand), but it works.
