not being affected by it as greatly as you all.
but i do find this unacceptable for a pay to play mmo that is on it's "second chance" or relaunch so to speak.
some of my EU FC members are being struck by this so we do feel your pain.
i'd suggest the use of a VPN but i don't feel it's right using this as an excuse to sweep this under the rug.
it's up to the dev to offer a decent service for paying customers.
It is getting worse. I got bumped off the game with 90000 (maybe too many 0's) error and tried to get back on. I got on, and lag was there with me just standing in New Gridania. Then, got kicked off with the error again and after trying to get back on, the message stated it was unable to update NA/EU servers. So, I can't play, but apparently I can pay. Not really fair. Had no problem until almost 2 weeks ago.
To be honest i don't think SE really give's a S**T as long as they are getting our money.
This is probably the worst game for lag i have played and that includes F2P games.
I unsubed 4 days ago because am not prepared to pay for a game that becomes unplayable at times.
Maybe more people should do the same, why a company has server's for EU player's in Canada (nothing against Canadians)of all places is just beyond me.

Right now I got hit with a terrible lag spike inside stone vigil, out of my frustration atleast we managed to finish it. But once outside, I was still lagging. My connection is fine but somehow im still lagging outside the dungeon. Some of my LS mates are having the same issues too. I hope this maintenance later tonight will fix this issue.

wow my post got deleted >.>
It is getting to that point- If they don't fix the issue soon, then I'm gone. EQ Next looks decent. To be honest i don't think SE really give's a S**T as long as they are getting our money.

Having same lag spike issues on Sargatanas. The lag spikes are severe, all movement coming to a complete stop about every 10 seconds. Needless to say, I can't even attempt Titan Extreme with this happening. Is anything being done to address this? From what I've heard from other players on the same server, they're having the same issues. It didn't start until the last update as far as I remember. I'm so frustrated, I want to cancel my account, and I've been playing FFXI and this for over 10 years.![]()
I cancelled as well. There's sense in paying for FFXIV with lag in its current state. To be honest i don't think SE really give's a S**T as long as they are getting our money.

I am also in US. Northeast, so pretty close to Montreal. I am on Sargantas and experience heavy lag in DF most of the time. This is crippling my endgame progress. I have noticed this since 2.1 went live. Everything on screen except for me freezes then everything snaps into place and generally I'm dead on the ground.
