    Worked fine in 1.23. You know, Relic Weapons enhancing one your main abilities or spells? Yeah, no gear swap needed. I like gear swap but the way this game is setup you won't really need to swap unless they go insane with it lol. Heck in 1.x we even had "+ or - Enmity" which required no swaps even though you could actually swap gear as mage/bard since the game didn't stop gear change on hate list, only while engaged.

    Aslong as it is intended to be the best armor of the current patch, unique job benefits as stats would be great, specially for future AF armors. I'm just not sure how are they gonna do it if they keep separating raid armor and AF armor.

    Yeah, the Tier Armor. The difference is that, in WoW, the Tier Armor is the armor that drops from raids (Technically exchanged from tokens dropped in raids), while here the AF armor doesn't seem to be related to raid drops, while the Allagan sets are the actual rewards from raids. It would be weird if the AF Armor gets unique stats while Allagan doesn't, unless both get different unique stats, which could be cool, I guess.

    Legendary weapons have unique stat too.
    Lots of non tier unique stat gear exist as well.
    Engineering and lots of Trinket items have unique effects.

    FFXIV ARR SE is lazy and uninspired when it comes to gear stats.

    The "boring" stat itemization is intended, they already said they will bring more unique stats later, but they decided to go with something simple in the beggining. Who knows, maybe we will see some interesting stuff from the numerous new weapons/armors.

    It would be interesting to see "new" stats in the form of new materia. And a viable means of replacing materia that's already inserted into a piece of gear.

    We did have "new stat materia" Yoshi got rid of it - causes "stress" and so on.

    yeah no joke i'd like AF gear to be given as raid drops or up-gradable (+1 and so forth) and we would get unique stats (enhance regen, cure, etc)

    that would be awesome

    that skill bonuses as you are asking for were in V1.0 but I am not sure if they gonna put them back in or not, I would really like them in the game though because it makes the Relic/AF gear worth more then just another quest item...
