Edit: It is a boss, and obviously MSK/COR have already been confirmed and are gonna happen, I am aiming this more towards that they have laid a base for the animations/stances/abilities/etc. for the classes by making them for a boss. I mean by this it is probably right around the corner since they will already have an idea as to how they want it to work.

The character is wearing GC gear - it's obviously an NPC, and there were several Limsa NPC musketeers in 1.0, so that's nothing new.

Really, until SE comes out and says 'MSK confirmed!', apply both Occam's and Hanlon's Razors to this.

Gun wielding Sub Boss in a new dungeon confirmed. Guess you failed to notice the Drg using Chaos Thrust on him or the fact its a locked boss room. That is all.

We know Musketeer is coming. Their guild is in Limsa Lominsa's coral tower. The outside of the tower has both MRD and MSK flags on it.
We know that new classes jobs will be coming in patches rather than expansions. Yoshi-P said so in an interview early this year.
We do not know that it will be coming in this patch. There isn't much reason for it to be a special surprise as it's better business to drum up anticipation of it.

Can't rule it out, but the presence of one enemy with a gun is no more confirmation of MSK than the demons are indicators of DRK.

Pretty sure that will all the reveals going for this patch, if MSK was one of them, they would have soaked in the excitement in such a reveal already. :P

Hey, I'd love it if it was true. It's not really "time" yet though. Considering the prior final fantasy XI, it was a while into release before they opened up new jobs.

The presence of a MSK guild in Limsa is a throwback to 1.0, it was there then as well. It was very possible that they were wanting to have it as a job in 1.0, until Dalamund fell from the sky. :P

Arcanist and Musketeer were both planned to be released at the start of V1, but they rushed it out too early. The fact that they have remodelled the Coral Tower in V2 but kept the MSK regalia means it is still gonna happen. Just... Soon.

No it's a boss. Not a player. This isn't any confirmation of anything other than a boss that uses a gun. He isn't even the first NPC to hold guns in the game.
