It does in the way that Garuda's cast are affected by Garuda's accuracy. The principle is the same. However, Garuda's accuracy requirements are 450 versus the SMN's ~432.

If I remember correctly, at 443 accuracy my Garuda's miss-rate was 1.8% (using logrep).

Well, reason and reality are not the same. The pet caps when the SMN has ~450 base accuracy. (not including food or anything else that might buff accuracy)

And thats why i was confused. The fact that caster and pet have 2 different caps stinks of bad design and i gave SE the benefit of the doubt.

Does anyone with 450ish accuracy have a way to drop their accuracy to 445-9? Since we know Kevee's accuracy at 442 was 97.5, I'm wondering if the number for Garuda might be slightly lower. I have 433 right now myself but no i90 yet, trying to see where I'll have to meld accessories to get Garuda as close to cap as possible

I believe that's a hypothetical set. I don't think anybody has it yet. I developed the same list as a final goal to aim for some months ago.

I was averaging 98.9% Garuda accuracy on Twintania tonight with 446 accuracy.
