Thanks Seobit, this is more in the realm of the type of response I was looking for.

I do notice only 4 sets of numbers there however, so it that turns 1-4 or 2-5?

In any event, Xxarc, Seobit is right in so far as I'm not looking so much for a "Can I do this" answer as a what is most optimal one. I know I am already geared enough for T5, I'm just trying to optimize. When you have a few million gil to burn as well as myth points, no harm in doing so.

So if Bio and Bio II can not miss, then really you're only getting accuracy at all for, Miasma, Thunder, Fester and Garuda?

If you don't mind me asking, what is your personal dot rotation (either or both of you?).

It's turn 1, 2, 4 and 5 in that order. No data for turn 3 cause nobody cares about turn 3 lol.

There's not really any rotation for SMN, just reapply dots as they fall and use your cooldowns and abilities as they become available, or as required. Standard sequence in opener is bio 2 > miasma > bio > fester > thunder.

Dots cannot miss "tics" once cast on a target.

Bio and Bio II cannot miss because they do not do any initial damage on a target, neither can contagion.

I have no idea how much my pet actually misses, as there is too much going on to really tell, but for the most part despite the "excessively low" accuracy I have I hardly ever see garuda miss hitting a conflag I'm in or a dreadknight while I'm stunned and have the time to notice.

they miss,when i tried t1 and t2 with the new myth vest and ak head i had very low accuracy around 394 ,and all dots missed apply very often,i had to use foods to be "normal"

well for t3 the rotation is "switcast-->titan--aggro everything" LOL

I've never missed as a BLM on turn 5 with 434 accuracy. Now I either have the luck of the gods or someone in here is overgearing for accuracy.

what does having a pet have to do with me missing. Unless you're implying that accuracy caps are different for smn and blm then i fail to see how that statement is at all relevent.

I have a 50 smn too and have experience raiding in coil with it. Now that being said i've never taken it to turn 5 and if that is the case then i stand corrected. But it also stands to reason that garuda's spell casts would operate on the same principle as a players spell casts.

Well, reason and reality are not the same. The pet caps when the SMN has ~450 base accuracy. (not including food or anything else that might buff accuracy)

So, consider yourself corrected.
