How do you think the negative reviews due to server issues will affect sales?

I'd be interested to see a server that holds 30k people at one time (aside from EVE, that's the only one I can think off of the top of my head).

If a server has a population of 30k people and only 5k can be logged on at once, that's one thing. Even then I can't imagine 5k people being on a single server at one time, restrictions of not. There's just too much of a stability issue.

Another clueless response from a fanboy... These server are caped to 5K and they are supposed to be holding 15K. Do the math and figure out how many people they have playing on these servers. This is a niche game and the worst thing they can do is add servers only to have them become ghost towns once the 30 day people decide not to subscribe.

To add: If you are one of the people giving negative reviews simply based on the server issues, SE is giving a free week to make up for it. They have created an astounding game, and you're doing nothing beneficial for anyone involved in the long run.

Here is a little tidbit of information. It's not really a "free week" when you can't access the game for the first week of your paid time - it's simply called "compensation." A truly "free week" would be if they gave us the link of time it was screwed up + 30 days + another 7 days of unpaid access.

You have to understand that an angry customer is most likely to post / try to affect the game (in this case). In the other hand, we have 5k x idk how many servers with happy players. Which will not post anything because they are busy enjoying the game.

As of how much it will affect them, I don't think they need any more sales if they already exceeded expectations LOL, they even took it down from the online store so people could not join the game anymore since it would saturate the game even more. I think they have a very prosperous future with this game, yes 30-40% of the people will quit once the 30 days is over, but for the 1.0 players, which are a lot, they will most likely stay, the game is way better than back then. I mean, I freaking bought the game twise because I wanted to play 3 freaking days before everyone else! LOL I mean 30 bucks to the drain for 3 days, yes I am addicted to this game.

I think the best way to personally review the game (I never really care of what others say until I see it) is watching some videos, streams are the best way to decide if it is worth it or not. Ofcourse you will have some WoW streaming fanboys which will try to bash any and every single MMO out there. Becuz it iz a WoW clonez!!11 WoWz waz teh furst MMO!!11 #rant

You have nothing to worry about. Even if some people left the game due to login issues and once it's 100% fixed, the people that left the game will come back eventually. Book it!
