God no, I hated that in EQ2. Best crafting for me is EQ1, do combine and RNG determines if you succeed.

Been like that for 20 years or so in EQ.

Twink is a character given gear much better than they could normally attain.

Doesn't even need to be different day. Was at dialysis when patch came out. Came home several hours later and had no issues at all.
