Yup, you have answered only about 80 of my posts, yet I am a gold seller. I just get annoyed because I am on ps3, and everytime i want to say something i have to manually click on it. its frustrating.

Type /sh. That'll make whatever you're typing a shout. You don't have to go in to chat mode and select Shout first every time.

also, any usb keyboard will work on ur ps3. Im a ps3 player myself so I can tell you it did not take long for me to become unlazy and pull out my keybard for it ( since im usually on laptop for PC ). If you want to be an efficient party member in the future, you should really consider the keyboard. Communicatoin is often very important.

yeah, it's pretty weird
we can set other chat as default but not shout
it's abit frustrating especially when i'm chatting with other in shout

It's funny, cause it sounds like question an RMT would ask lol.

I have shout filtered out. I don't need to see every random person's chat. Everything I need is in my linkshells, FC or tell.

You can change your default channel by entering the channel name without a message.
For shout, use /shout. At least I think that should work. I don't think I've ever changed it shout, so maybe there's a restriction on that one.
You can use /party, /say, etc.
When you use /channel message, it sends the message to that channel, but doesn't change your default channel.

I don't even use Linkshells all that much. I am almost always in FC chat. Only time I use /shout is for if I want to join a Fate grind group or FC recruitment, of which I keep down to one advertisement every ten minutes or so.

If people need to get ahold of me they can either PM me or talk to me in FC chat. Otherwise its doubtful that I want to talk to you. I prefer the quiet chatter of my FC over General chat.
