When I see this...

I went back to low level dungeons for Maelstrom hunting log, when I see what's happening there nowadays, I fear for our futur when all these horrible players will be queueing for lv50 dungeons.

Now it's just a game and I'm not elitist, most people are good enough, and tons are better than me, but I had an idea.
What about making the next dungeons unavailable unless you completed the previous ones?
It doesn't sound to much of a constraint, and would hold this CNJ, that couldn't get on the **** glowing square to cure doom, for a while in Qarn...

I agree. I see nothing wrong with having to complete dungeons in order to unlock higher dungeons. This would really help people learn.

This doesn't really make any sense. You expect to go to low level dungeons and for them to be as awesome players as level 50? I would assume most players do progress through dungeons as they progress through levels. Your post just seems kind of contradictory. You should be worried about the players who aren't in dungeons at all until level 50, not the lowbies trying to learn the game.

Yeah, damnit, these low level noobs in low level dungeons not being as good as someone that does lvl 50 hm dungeons. Damnit. We should maybe ban all new players because they play so badly in the beginner dungeons..

I thought that the beginning dungeons were blocked off until you completed them. At least that's how the story ones are

I see what you are saying but i also want to throw this out there, Qarn is the hardest dungeon in game and it should be level adjusted to a higher level. I guess i could say this is the hardest DF dungeon in comparison to its level. This dungeon also just comes so quick to a player its very fun but also very challenging for most players still adjusting to the game.

Seriously, all but a couple are, you DO have to do them in order besides the optional ones. Pretty strange to call players bad when unaware of this fact. O_o

About the Doom tiles, one run in there, had leader telling new players the wrong thing to do when, and another i had movement problems where i would lock on to a mob making it hard to run (was on PC, but it kept doing that lock on thing the ps3 does).

Sorry for not being precise on this one.
For Maelstrom GC hunting log I had to go to Halatali and Qarn, so I was referring to optional dungeons.

What's required to unlock an optional dungeon, beside the appropriate level?

There is the possibility that a Fate Baby could level from 1 to 30, not do any of the story line dungeons and queue up on one of the optional dungeons (since lvl is the only requirement) and not get the experience they would naturally get on how to play their class though the story line.

I only fear for the future would be players of this game when they're unable to complete these low level story required dungeons because of other bad players. Sure they may get it in time and with some luck but it's really bad.

if your looking for a good dungeon run use shouts "lf members with good gear and exp for a dungeon" if your using dungeon finder you must expect bad/rage/lows/afks/ and much more. its your problem if you join a random group using DF and its not going your way.

Agreed, DF is always a craps shoot. I'm glad that more and more of my FC are getting into the lvl 50 content, and when I run low dungeons I'm usually with 1 or 2 other FC members so it doesn't tend to be so bad.

Had my worst experience with Ifrit this morning (I'm sure there'll be many more) where the DPS didn't have the output to kill all the nails in time, and some of the DPS were still wearing lvl 27 white accessories.
