I dont get it, its just night time and raining? No different from the last time it was night time and rained, and the time before, infact since release :D

Its Darker than usual... Cant see a dang thing, I can show you pictures that are night time and I can see everything if you like.... and its not Just Thanalan its Coerthas and Limsa only one I cant confirm is Mor Dhona.. but that place is always spooky :/ lol

Not To Mention along with NPC's talking crazy talk about Bad stuff happening to Eorzea ( different from what they were used to saying) + the Shady Character thats dressed like a GM xD, and the No Music in Thanalan.. its makes a Vaild Arguement/point :/ lol

Not According to the Darkness Pictures... Before this "Ninja Patch" Im calling it lol, I can see everything in the dark even when it was Cloudy and rainy.. now its like Off in the Distance I can see a dang thing and sometimes in front of me =(. From the Looks of things This " Pitch Black" weather were having along with what the Broken Water Camp Warden said " Even the Skies have become our Nemesis" >.< WERE GOING TO DIE /cry

Hey Viion, Your from Besaid too :o, My name on there is Starlord Ravine =) and Moth Yes it has been Raining in the Friggen Desert like 20 times per earth day in Thanalan :( were going to Die weather Viion believes it or not even with her "Stoneskin II" XD

It's pretty exciting. Obviously we're getting closer to some sort of events unfolding. That's another change in game to add to the list of stuff with the sky darkening up now..

I have my awesome velveteen hat to shelter me from the rain, My spells provide the light from the casting animation and ofc stoneskin 2 will protect me from anything, even a lv 99 goblin! if i can survive a goblin I can survive the darkness!!

Anybody else think that if the map for Gridania didn't need to be changed or redesigned, that none of this would be happening?

I mean, they did update and increase the size of the mob, and now suddenly its a tie into the story. If this is how changes are going to be implemented, then I am really impressed! I just wonder what kind of events would lead to the redesigning of Thanalon and La Noscae. I think Coerthas is a decent size for a map that is in the middle of a large mountain range, and Mor Dhona seems to be a much smaller map compared to the rest of them too, so that one doesn't seem to have a need to be redesigned.

I just hope this eerie event doesn't come to a sudden end. If this all connected to the destruction of Gridania, I hope there is a cool cutscene that goes to it. I'd be very disappointed if this event ends after a patch like nothing happened, but things are different,

1.18 is suppose to be a pretty large patch. If they are redesigning the three zones, then this patch probably is the 33% mark for all of the updates they have planned to implement. As for a cut scene, i don't believe that it will happen, because PS3 players will never get to experience that cutscene for itself. I think there is already too much they are having to miss out on anyways, a cutscene will just be more work.

That it is Nuru I believe that this patch "which is going to be Really big Considering were skipping a month to get this BIG patch" We Know were getting Encampments and Dungeons but is that really all.. No I really think theres something there not telling us, Especially whats been going on this past week With Thanalan and the Other places around Eorzea. Part of the reason it has been delayed so long is due to Golden Week, otherwise, by the time the patch is ready, they should have everything finished, and then some. There should be no reason to leave us hanging onto this event longer than 2 months. That would be too ridiculous, and eventually we would just forget that the event is even happening.

Yeah, if this was an Easter themed event and nothing more, why would they keep it going for this long? Something bigger is going on than this silly egg gather/get hat event.

Pictures at Mor Dhona in the Darkness.. its not just one place or 2.. its EVERYWHERE!! and it seems like Mor dhona is the darkest of all place!

Why the Easter Event is still running is beyond me. The Last Word, is a completely separate event, or an event that follows through from The Hatching Tide, which was an event that brought about the archons.

The "Hatching" Tide Which is the Re-birth of the Archons (perhaps?) and They are the ones thats going to destory Eorzea? or perhaps the Primals ( Summons) thats going to attack Eorzea... Either way something is going to go down an even tthats going to destory at Least Gridania.. but what about the No Music in Thanalan which Im have right this moment.. Something is fishy here...

I think the silence in Thanalon is because it is directly connected to Gridania. La Noscae is a bit far off to experience anything drastic. Our knowledge tells us that The Black Shroud is the primary target for whatever the cause may be. How/if it effects Thanalon is something that may show up within the next few patches, if something is ever going to be done to Thanalon.

Slience in Thanalan, is like The calm before the Storm in Gridania? I dont think that sounds right... in fact dont you notice all the NPCs are talking about How the Skies are an enemy now, Ferry boat being Sunked, Raining Excessively Everywhere.. Theres going to be a natural disaster I feel along with the cause of the Weathers unstabe pick up as of late

I still don't think any of this is going to lead to any changes to the Gridania zone.

I think there's going to be changes throughout the zones.

All the NPCs saying things about how Eorzea is in danger of a dark force or Ferry ships being Sunked, Have you not seen the Weathe rin Thanalan and the Pitch Black Skies... And if you pay attention to the storyline all of whats been mention Connects to a " Seventh Umbra Era" that we may very well potential get thwarted into

Yes i'm aware of all that but i think people are jumping to conclusions, something is going to happen but Gridania is not going to burn down or anything. Everyone hates the black shroud and for good reason but i think people are going to be dissapointed if they carry on thinking some massive redesign is going to happen. The zone is going to stay the way it is they will just add things like camps to it.

Actually they did say they was looking for a redesign. most of the black shoud is hallways and you really can't menuver very well there. People complained about how confusing it is.

btw i think that no music in thal is a glitch. As i never experienced it. And I'm in that area.

Thats all true indeed it is related to Gridania in some way however, Considering all that was put on the tablle this patch alongside with the green stone tablet that Yoshida Gave to us about the " Seventh Umbra Age" and how its all going to burn from the " Ocean clouds that Pour Fiery Flames" Why in the world would that crazy Non-GM say something like that if its not going to be true? What else could he mean by all of what he said?

Music in Thanalan is Not a Glitch as one of the Community Reps Said its not a bug nor Glitch. and the Music Fades in and out at Random You have to be in that zone for some time to experience it

You can be right or you can be wrong, but the fact of the matter is, something is going to happen to The Black Shroud, and not necessarily Gridania. I also already gave an explanation as to how this event isn't directly tied into the main story, its just part of a side story, some extra lore and filler. Just like the Mob Size update, which is now also part of that story.

The conclusion, there are fingers pointing to the bare fact that these updates are being brought forth into this game by being tied in with some lore. If only small changes were done in Gridania, well.. its sad to say that the hype we have now is a greater hype than we'd have while exploring the changes in the Black Shroud.
