Why So Serious? Everybody is Batman-ing

This is quite hilarious.

The amount of 'serious' players and the way they act, speak, and rage.

People are taking this game SO serious it's comical.
Rage in dungeons when someone makes a mistake, rage in primals, players are definitely on an enrage timer.

Mechanic: You have this much time to finish the dungeon with no errors or player wipes himself.

People want to be the best, understandable, but they definitely need to chill out a bit.
I don't PUG anymore, and if you have enough friends playing you shouldn't need to, thus no PUG = minimal mistakes.
If you don't have an FC/LS, get one... of both.

So many players are going full Batman.

Plenty of people get very serious about their recreational activities, and sometimes a few of them get /very/ serious. I don't understand why it's uniquely embarrassing when it's a video game however, but at least we aren't going out and looting the local Best Buy over a failed dungeon run. Go on about nerd rage all you like, but I've seen plenty of people get just as angry over football games or anything else, honestly.

If people can't move out of a big ass red circle within 3-4 seconds, Yes I rage. And I hope to god they uninstall the game and leave gaming alone.

I would love to agree, but the server latency issue is making this otherwise banal task quite onerous :/

Welcome to the sad attributes of the human race... No wonder we keep getting worse as a society, I mean, at the end of the line it is just a video game. If you allow yourself to react in such manors, well, it says a lot about you as a human being. Ergo, those same reactions very likely carry over to all other aspects of your life, which is not so grand.

Personally though, I'll help any new player out and not whine about errors or wipes. It is life, to error is to be human, if you believe otherwise... Your just dumb. Not to mention, life is also about learning and growing to be better in any activity, so give people a chance to learn....

"Oh, you never ran this dungeon before and do not know its mechanics.... (Fit of childish rage, chaos and idiocy) ....., I ain't playing with you!!!" = just plain sad!

Its cause a lot of people playing have their priorities in life out of wack. MMORPGs have become the most important thing in their lives.

And @OP What's wrong with people telling you about your mistake? At least you'll know what to do next time. Or do you literally mean players that type like "WTF YOU FKING FAILURE IN LIFE YOU DIDN'T SNEAK" bc I've ran CM/AK 50 times and I've never seen that.

I believe hes referring to the people raging about them. My first Titan Hard fight was mostly FC but healer was PUG. I ddnt know about his slide after jumping got hit because he was out of the camera and hadnt turned it. Second time another fellow FC mate got hit with the same thing. He immediatly goes off "Are you trying to get hit?" Spent the rest of the fight raging at us.

Even the best players are out of concentration sometimes. I'm not that good a player, but I downed titan with my friends, and even now if I do it again I still get hit by a landslide or two..

But the rage keeps me warm at night whilst I plot the destruction of the world...

Besides, anger at an inanimate object is like maniacal laughter at your captured heroic rival: good for the soul, and stress-relieving. I can jaunt around happily every day knowing that I can sneer venomously at my unfeeling, cold computer screen later.

I'd like to ask a questtion of the people defending people who get all out of line over small things like this: How would you react if your boss or supervisor acted like these little Napoleons, jumping down your throat for the slightest things?

I wish people would realize that mistakes are a part of every game, online and off. How are people going to learn if they don't make them?

It will only get worse, once they release the Dark Knight job.

Did a full FC run of AK last night, we didn't take anything too seriously. We did our best and just couldn't beat the wall and ended up having to leave once the tank's gear broke but so far that is the best run I've had all game. We really got to know each other and joke around which is what I join FC for in the first place.

When someone stands there till the cast bar is 75% and try to move or when Garuda ports and you see her charging and then decide to move..you can no longer blame latency.
