smells like a challenge to me.
Of course it's easy no one should get hit by stuff outside of Stomps
But quick question how much MND you have?
But Grats anyway :P
Oh look, a brag thread complete with video. Grats on the accomplishment, though. /golfclap.
Nicely done.
edit - that summoner totally used physick you didn't solo heal! :P
I end up having to solo heal the last 30% as a sch every other attempt when we go. Its doable, but people need to help themselves so for it to work.
I've said it before and I will say it again, whm have zero downsides with a bard around. Sch cannot say same. They can Tank heal, AoE heal, regen, threat dump, have better utility and end up with better overall dmg then a sch if they can freecast stone2 with their dots rolling. But SCH would be op apparently if we are able to get our hands on an efficient aoe heal. Oh well, hopefully SE will do something about SCH's faulty kit. I'll just continue gearing my lvl 50 whm until something is done with sch to put them on even ground with whm.
Can be done with a SCH also. FC on our server did a 6 man HM titan with SCH healer. Less emo SCH plz.
Why is it surprising? Double succors will do the trick in the first two phases. Sacred Soil / Succor / Succor will handle phase transitions. E4E/Aldo will handle Mountain Buster.
Yeah, it will take some excellent timing and reasonably good gear - but there should be no doubt that this can be done. You can't expect to carry a group as a solo scholar, but if you want to do it for the sake of doing it (with a good group)...I see no reason why you can't pull it off.
I've solo healed the entire post heart once. The SCH got knockdown by a random landslide before heart, and we were just too lazy to restart.
Where can I find healers like this lol
Our healers either lag or do not have the throughput.
I haven't tried much yet, but apparently tanks other than my usual queue buddy can't handle me healing the AoE damage... Even if I've ignored healing the first wave of Tumults. :/ Gods wonder how people survive the enmity gain from solohealing. :p
Even worse is that they're all Paladins, which apparently have a very simple rotation. Sadface. :(
I didnt hit 50 yet but I think that SCH, as a support class, are exactly where they'r suposed to be. And our friend OP showed us that. WHM are a healing class so obviously they will heal for more. We are there to support the group by making life easier for them, thats why we have 2 fairies, so we can decide if the group need more heals or better performance. If SCH get buffed this balance will be broken. It is simple as it is, if pleople like to heal reactivelly and with big numbers WHM is theyr class, if pleople like to be versatile and heal proactivelly then SCH it is.
I solo healed immediately after heart phase to the end of the fight as a sch, due to whm eating dirt. I'm going to see if if its possible to do entire run as solo heal :)
If people don't take damage from the voids or bombs, Tumults and Mountain Blaster are really the only thing you are healing outside of his jump phases. This would be pretty easy to solo heal, divine seal will be up for every Tumult phase, Quickcast Medica 2, spam Medica, top tank off/stoneskin when landslides come. However, no amount of healing will save someone who sits in zones or gets knocked off. Also, 3 bards makes this gg since you will pretty much always have mana, trying to do this with 1 for example would be impossible.
Either way good job.
I used to quickcast medica 2, but now I just start casting it right after my post-MB Cure 2 lands--the timing is just about right for it to cast right after first stomp (if you start casting Cure 2 before MB hits). The problem with quickcast is you still have GCD. If you wait for first stomp to quickcast Medica 2, then you have 2.5 seconds to even start casting medica. OTOH if you start casting early, then medica 2 lands on first stomp and you can immediately start casting Medica.
Save quickcast for raises or to quickcast the last medica at the end of tumult if people got too low somehow.
Why did you choose to meld Piety and Spell Speed in particular? What is your total MP and Spell Speed? Also can you please provide details on how much of a reduction in cast time tyour spell speed gives you on esuna, cure, cure 2, medica, and medica 2? Good job btw, and thanks.
