Why is everyone in this game is afraid to...

Why is everyone in this game is afraid to admit that some of the content is hard?
This game content ranges from really easy, to normal and yes its hard sometimes, but none seems to accept this.

"This game is easy"
"Chimera is easy"
"Getting relics is easy"
"AK is easy"
"Binding coil is easy"
"Titan Hard is easy" <- biggest lie ever but they try to save it by putting "once you know what to do" at the end.

Bullcrap... you are confusing whats easy with whats time consuming.
Relic weapons dont have time consuming or random requirements with low chances now, but the current requirements are NOT easy.

None will call you a bad player or a wuss if you accept some facts.
If the content of this game was easy, everyone should have binding coil of Bahamut turn 5 beaten by now.
I know that I will get replies who will call me a bad player but nahhh keep trying to portray yourselves as the ultimate players, you are not fooling anyone, the content is still hard.

Getting a relic should be hard, and content like AK is hard when you're first learning it. However, when you do the same place over and over it becomes very easy because you know the order mobs do attacks etc. Most people on here are grinding these dungeons so they find it easy. People already admit Titan is difficult, and most people aren't even on coil yet (the ones who are admit it's difficult) so it's not all easy. Basically most people know it's hard but like a challenge because that's what a game should be.

But I am the ultimate.

And yeah, most of this game is very easy... Titan's the first thing I'd actually consider hard, and yeah, coil's definitely difficult in my experience. Pretty small part of the game. :\ A lot of these things should be much harder.

It is pretty easy honestly, just using a duty finder pt makes it near impossible(titan/garuda).

There are big red circles telling you where not to stand. How can any of it be "hard"?

This actually is one of those things that really irks me...people need to stop saying it if they have to suffix it with "once you know..." When I won Titan with a good group, it was "easy", but it was hard to get to that point. First time I did Chimera (first week of go live), it was hard; I helped my partner last week and that run was easy: but only because people worked on gear and technique to get it down.

So yeah...I agree..."easy"...bad word :p

Palinq: even with the circles, learning the pattern (as if you're casting in the middle of a circle you die) doesn't fall under "easy" until you go "ah I get it now"...and then it may be easy for you, but unless it's easy for the entire party it ain't classed as easy - it's the wrong use of the word.

However...overall I have to admit the game doesn't demand enough, I enjoyed FFXI and the CoP expansion - that was actually hard a lot of the time and I loved it - so rewarding to complete. So by comparison, FFXIV is easy, it really needs to avoid pandering to the overly casual players in almost all aspects of the game.

95% of this game is easy. thats enough to categorize it as easy. Also as Wade mentioned, a lot people compare this to ff11, and when you do, this game is super easy.

No time consuming does not equal hard.
I can farm 1 Mythology seal by just logging into the game for 40 days and I can farm the same by doing AK once, can you tell whats harder of the two?

I can't fly a plane...give me a year of doing it and I'll take off and land without thinking...

Like I said, misuse of the word "easy". Almost everything is easy once you do it enough, it's often hard work getting there.

Nothing is easy. Success for Ifrit HM, Garuda HM, Titan HM, Bahamuts Coil, almost everything depends on teamwork. If one person doesn't know what to do, that's a potential wipe for everyone. EVERYONE. No matter how easy you think it is. If one person doesn't know what he or she is doing, they can bring the entire team down.

If you want to be the best player, it's not to surround yourself with players on your level but to be able to teach people how to do certain things. Be willing and have the patience to deal with mistakes and still striving towards success. There's a learning curve, some players get it right away, some don't.

By this definition nothing will be hard ever.

Have you see the people that play blind tetris at max speeds with reversed screens?
I wonder if that is hard for them now that they are at a machine level when they play it.

If you get a good group who has their stuff together, and you know the stuff and the tricks, and memorize the patterns bosses provide you, most of the content runs smoothly. You're still fighting on the edge of your seat; positioning and correct skill timing is still important. You need a Paladin offtaking Ifrit or your meter won't go very high and people have to dodge Eruptions; you need a caster to blow Meteor on the Nails. Some of these things you have to aim for, and not having them makes the content harder. Garuda gives you a priority system for dodging behind rocks and defeating certain adds. Titan is a royal pain, until you know his system. Learning this is hard; mastering it is very hard for most people.

yes, once you have learned how to do something it has become easy... for you. take this as an example, for Me calculating the orbital pathways for bodies in space is hard, for a NASA engineer it's easy. or closer to home, people THINK making a souffle is hard, but being a trained chef, I know that once you learn the technique they're actually simple, or heck to someone who's practiced the violin for much of their lives, it's an easy instrument to play, If I tried it tomorrow, I'd find it very hard...

Everything becomes easy once you learn how to do it, however learning how to do something is the hard bit, if something is still hard after you've learned how to do it...well then you obviously haven't finished learning how to do it.

actually, those thing are easy when you get hang on it. I have not win titan, but after practice party 3h continues wipe by titan I dare say it is not hard, just need to get hang on it.

I never play FFXI and I will admit that I think this game is hard. As a healer I've found myself struggling and having to really be at the top of my game since Qarn more or less and I don't think it's been getting easier since then.

Sure its not hard, thats why there are people going around, selling Titan runs, because its not hard and everyone can do it, you know like the other people who sell Satasha runs....

I have played XI for many years, 99.99 of that game's difficulty was due to bad mechanics (old game) and time consuming requirements to do anything.
