Silly things you do

What are some really silly things you do that has absolutely no benefit to you or your character, but you do it anyway?

Confession - I put my character in the closest thing I can find to bed clothing - Black Camise and Pantalettes - and put her into bed before exiting the game at the end of the day, usually around 10pm at night when I myself am going to bed also. Yes I know its stupid and silly, but I did the same to my Skyrim character. Realism is a big thing for me.

What are your silly things?

I log in and read random posts on the forums instead of just playing the game.

I do Ifrit with no gear so I can work on my tan.

Arent you dark enough already?

I like both my Unicorn mount and Magitek. So occasionally I will use my Unicorn mount with the excuse that my Magitek mount is with Cid, Biggs and Wedge for maintenance. I'm not even an avid roleplayer. :p

My character is pretty much rather white. Heh, I want to change my chars face and nose + skin colour so I guess I need to get that bottle. :p

Well I am as white as possible (because I wanted to be a WHM from the onset) so putting my avatar beside yours... you seem pretty dark to me.

I like to /smile at random people whenever i see them standing there idle.

I like to jump down cliffs. I'm currently trying to prove the fact that we really can't die from jumping down a cliff as it will always get your hp at 1 as the lowest (of course that's only if you're not being followed by a mob)

I'm a healer and when things are running smooth in an instance and I find myself with no healing to do, i'll throw in a sexy /dance while watching everyone else fight. (sexy is a big word as a lalafell is more childish than sexy xD)

I like to fire arrows at mobs down below while I jump down from up on high. I pretend I'm doing it slow motion.

I like to walk up to someone (as a level 5 or 6 or something) when they are on one of those magitek robot mounts and ask them ''how do I open my bags?'' or other some such noobie question and when they say ''what???''

Then switch to my 43 WHM and then tell them ''heh only joking :P".

I wear low gear to look cute.
I'm sorry but look at the damn robes in-game you guys lol. Ugly as hell.
I'm seriously wearing that level 31 crafting outfit that makes you look like a flight attendant from the Twin Adder people.

I let my character sit down on the inn's bed and AFK for about 10 mins... Then, call my retainer to stare at her for another 5 mins and send her off without doing any retainer task...

I find highest parts of the world and jumps off to see if I die if I fall down there XD

I do this in every MMO I play. Usually when I am at max level. I will run around in a big circle in the main city while I think of something to do. Back in SWTOR I still believe I hold the record for most laps in the Imperial space station. I am guilty of doing something similar here. Though most cities are instanced so I just run to the edge of the instance.

Whenever I'm doing a lot of crafting at once, I try and find odd places to do it at. Recently, it's been on the roof above the mender in Quarrymill.

I'm also guilty of the jumping down from great heights thing...I'm a Dragoon. I like to Jump around ^_^

oh so many... but main one i do..
every time i log out, i need to find a place to sit my character, no the floor a place to sit her.. one time actually run to another sanctuary, bc i could find a resting comfy place.. lol
at 1st it started as just cute places to sit, now it has to be proper places to sit.. lol

Although I really shouldn't, for laughs I often jump up on the lamp post near the aetheryte in New Gridania - getting to the top sign is tricky but doable if you know how (which I was shown back in the Alpha). ;)

Even funnier when I have my wind up Dalamud minion out (which seems to bug out if I'm standing in the right spot and hovers under me. :p

I've found myself following a player, getting very close, and then clicking on them, causing it to look like I'm breathing down their neck. I've yet to take a SS yet because they always run :(
Maybe I'll start a stalking SS collection..

I also do that so the go to bed animation isn't him in armor.
I found a changing room with a working door next to a spa in game. I took my char into it and switched him into swimwear.
Vanity or "town gear" that is often lower level but entirely for looks.
I decided to fly an Ahriman mount to be among the Ahriman mobs at Haukke Manor.
I "place" Carbuncle next to my char when in /sit mode while waiting. I am obsessive about no leaving him just standing there.
Parcour: I try to climb any surface that normally would not be climb-able in an mmo like the extremely high up steel pipes at the Cerulean Processing Plant camp area.
One more thing, I like to /dance him next to any npc's who are dancing on stages and /stretch next to npc soldiers doing work out drills.
Gods, the list is long of completely pointless stuff I do but it entertains me, so I guess that is not entirely pointless. Oh and minions....just minions.

I like to get my female toons a Moonfire Faire bikini as soon as I can.

I then level them to 10 while they wear nothing but one of those sexy bikinis. :cool:

I jump when I cast Scathe?

i can just not seem to leave an area without jumping over the blue line. its as though running through the line will kill me and my character i just HAVE to jump it.
