I am on Ultros. I cannot advance my story, I am at the "Speak to Francel" phase of "The Final Flight of the Enterprise" and I cannot interact with the NPC. He does not respond.

Same for me, on Ultros, cannot activate the NPC

Steps:
1. The quest "The Final Flight of the Enterprise" asks you to "Speak with Francel." When you right-click on Francel, the buttons go dark for a brief moment, and then light back up. No text displays from Francel.
2. Attempted to leave the area and come back, same result.
3. Attempted to logout, log back in and retest, same result.
4. Attempted to party and talk to Francel, same result.

Same bug for me on the same stage of the quest.
On a side note anyone know where to level after dragonhead, without the story quest and having not played 1.0 i have no clue where to go next for 40-45 quests?

Same deal here. Seems to be affecting everyone progressing through their story line and seems to be limited to Ultros. Started just after last maintenance it seems.

I haven't been able to progress my story quest since Saturday now. Going on 3 days. This is unacceptable. How is this not hotfixed yet? I sincerely hope you're not waiting until maintenance to fix this - this needs to be HOTFIXED ASAP!
Are devs even active on this forum?
Have any of you tried dropping the quest and redoing it? How about in game tickets to see if they can do anything for you in game? I would also suggest that you put this in the proper format (I seen 1 person do this out of the 3 pages on this so far). From what I can tell it seems to be a problem with your world, so I dare say dropping and re-doing the quest probably won't help.
Can't drop the quest as it's the main quest.

This is objectively gamebreaking and has the potential to happen on other servers.

SE closed my in game bug request and asked me to create a forum post. WTF, will they ever fix this?

This bug has been going on for 5 days - Basically, just makes me not want to play the game whenever something like this happens. I can see it freezing for an afternoon or something, but near to a week now and no response.
Totally silly when it's something that's part of the main storyline and needed to progress in it.
THEY BETTER NOT DO A MAINTENANCE ON SATURDAY AS I BOOKED TIME OFF FROM WORK TO PLAY ALL WEEKEND.
