Since the other thread has gotten a little confusing, I'll just post a new one announcing our new Linkshell for folks wanting to chat in-character.
We're not too picky. We don't need you to present some detailed backstory, we're not going to schedule "RP sessions" or create scenarios to play through. We're just interested in immersing ourselves in the game's world and lore.
If interested post here, find me in-game, or send me a letter/friend request.

Awesome, I'm glad to see so much interest all of a sudden. I'll keep an eye out for everyone in game and send out invites. And yeah, now that I've heard about Regalius I'll be sure to keep in touch with them to keep the Hyperion RP community together.

I'm actually interested in popping into both LSs just for straight out RP purposes.

As our numbers are steadily increasing, I figured I'd add some basic info for interested parties.
- Linkpearls are commonly used to communicate, as you can witness in the story. As such, we act in-character in the shell.
- As said before, we're not picky. No need to come up with a complicated background for your character if you don't want to. There's a place for everyone, from light to heavy RP practitioners.
- If you've never roleplayed before and you're curious about it, feel free to inquire and one of us will gladly give you answers ! (the usual "what you need to know beforehand" among other things)
With some new folks from the transfers just wanted to remind everyone that we're still looking for Hyperion RP'ers of any degree of casual/hardcore. We're just a friendly community looking to add a little more fun and camaraderie to the game!
Also rolling around the idea of a Twelve's Guard Tumblr to share our stories.

I'm a long time forum/paragraph/semi-para/etc roleplayer but I'm totally new to MMO roleplay(And FFXIV as I'm still levelling), maybe you guys could show me the ropes. :D

Hi! Never personally RPd myself so I'm not sure how one would go about starting that lol. It sounds like it'd be something fun to do on the side though if you guys don't mind teaching me. The closest thing I've ever done was writing like a mini back story for my character when playing games like Skyrim and I had some ideas for a story for my current ARR character if that helps. I'd appreciate it if you could throw an invite to the LS my way next time you're on. Thank you :)

Unfortunately, those with power to invite people have been away from the game for some time now. It is quite dead.
I haven't been able to meet those of you who are interested and being on an extended break from the game right now doesn't help ^^'
I'll try to log in and send invites but living in Europe makes it awkwark for me to be on at the same times as most of you.. (outside of weekends at least)
Remember that you're still autonomous in regards to roleplaying though.
There are no fixed events so you're welcome to have initiatives, the main point is to be able to find people to RP with, whether you're going for casual interactions or intricate stories.
I'd actually suggest starting anew, making a headcount of interested parties and see where this goes :)
