What're You Going To Do About 1hr+ Pre-Made Queue Times?

This your fault.

You took away AK speed runs, now average queue time for it, even with a premade group, ranges from 30 minutes to 1 hour+.

Makes me not want to play the game anymore. Takes time to find a group, and even worse then having to wait and DO the dungeon.

Turned a 15 minute run into 2 hours. If this doesn't change I definitely will not be adding subscription times for this game.

....so are you telling me that even if you have a group ready to go that you now have to wait still because there can only be so many instances of a certain dungeon running at one time??? How did they not think this one through...very soon there are going to be even more people running these dungeons and it if this is the case it is going to get really bad in the futre. If it is this bad with the just the lead pack having issues what about us 3/4 ahead packers...we are totally screwed over.
I did not know there was a limit to the numbers of instances that could run at the same time....totally BUNK!!!!!

Yeah, sadly this issue exists. It is a new issue to me. Never played an MMO with this kind of problem.

Que times are that long for DPS throughout the game, and in most games where people are DPS. Instead of griping about waiting an hour to get thrown into groups with sub-par players half the time why don't you get a decent Free Company and form groups the good old-fashioned way. Also, there is really no way that Square can fix this issue unless they...what...impose caps on DPS per server and force people to play tanks and healers so that a more diverse group will be using the duty finder at the same time?

Tell more people to play tanks or healers and quit whining about Square fixing a bug. And use proper sentence structure and grammar while you're at it.

Apologies if this is no help, but in case you didn't know, you don't actually have to stay as that job while you wait. You can change to something else (gatherer, crafter, whatever). Then when you get the notification you have those 45 seconds to change back.

Unfortunately it does mean you can't join any sort of party though, including bringing out you own chocobo as that'll cancel you from the duty finder.

Like I said sorry if that's no help, but thought best mention in case you don't as it might prove useful.

Yeah this Chocobo BS needs to be fixed. You can't do jack with it. Can't talk to NPC's and DF stuff too.
His restricting as hell. Also Que time is long in general, unless you tanks are having a hard time then there is clearly something wrong with DF if I am healer and takes forever to party a dungeon.

I suggest SE do what most other MMOs do, put in locks to prevent excessive constant running of instances for grinding purposes, that'll fix your queue times.

FFXI is the same, it seems to be SE's bizarre way of handling instances.

Well the speedrun exploit well...was an exploit so that's alright for a fix.
AK is for those Tomstones right?
What they need to do is go ahead and make other dungeons available for more of those.
Everyone relying on a single dungeon so it's full. Or if they do already, lower AK Tomstone and even it out
so people can just run any dungeon.

Cooldown timer for each instance would be a temp solution. I am a bit upset about this whole deal but then again remembering how vanilla FFXI used to be like back in 2001 with their party build makes me feel nostalgic.

I don't think adding a post-instance queue will work, in fact I think it will cause more complaints when players who don't get to complete a dungeon because someone was using bad behavior have to quit and then deal with a timer only to be with another timer just get into the dungeon again with their team.

The issue is simple at the moment. Either the severs that maintain and host the dungeons need to be pushed to their capacity or there needs to simply be more of them in quantity.

With 1hr+ queues, how mad do you think players will become at even the mention of an additional timer. This is not a solution and it is not any players fault. This problem is server-side and until they make a move, I feel we will likely have to deal with situation unfortunately. :(

Wait so, you are telling me the dungeon servers are full and that's why you sit in queue when you have 8 ppl in a party already because the normal servers too are full because the servers are full?
