No multiple choice? :(

Voted! /10char
Voted as well! :3
Voted. Bump.
So far I like the way the distribution looks. Fairly even! And healers and tanks are the top two positions.
Voted. However my inner Obsessive Compulsive is showing.
Why did you say:
Paladin
Monk
...
WHM
BLM
...
Summoner
short form
I call shenanigans. there's no way healers are at the top.
I agree not just the healers too the numbers so far don't support the fact that Tanks will get instant queues while dps waits over an hour for a queue.
right now the poll says:
33% are healers
25% are tanks
42% are dps
If these numbers were accurate, considering DF sets 4 and 8 man runs with 25% tank, 25% healer and 50% dps then we are technically short on DPS and heavy on healers. Yet we all know that if you don't queue with a tank it will take you an hour to get a group in DF and queuing as a healer isn't as good as tank but can still often get instant queues to instances other than AK. So either people are lying, tanks and healers queue for DF less than dps or there is a larger percentage of tanks and healers browsing the forums.
couldnt vote because there was no choice for BRDWHMPLDSMNSCHMNK
I'm sure the idea was to vote for the class which you reserve as your "main" job. Don't give me that "but all these classes are my main" because we know you would be full of it. Just vote what class you play the most or enjoy playing the most. Seeing as this is a FF MMO we all have or will have multiple classes at level cap, but we will have that one job we like, or play the most.
Well then, i guess i would have to say ACN, since it is newest. However, all of those classes are my main job, especially with my LS in 1.0 we would all have at least three classes that we would swap around in depending on the fight or dungeon. I just can not say one class, because when i need to get something done, i go as whatever is needed (usually tank, sometimes healer). I guess if it comes down to what i play most, id have to say crafting jobs.
See, you are full of it, you answered the question right there. It isn't that hard to understand. This poll wasn't about crafting jobs, so clearly they would be excluded. As for saying acn you are just being difficult, but explaining that you have whm leveled already you could never say that you play smn/sch/whm the same since you have to pick attribute points for acn tied to both smn and sch and you would be an idiot to split the points between them especially since you already have whm leveled. Not saying that you wouldn't pick sch over smn but you wouldn't go half way into specializing into a job when you have the default ones already leveled with not having the dilemma of splitting attribute points. You are clearly trying to be difficult and troll this post, people like you annoy me.
I don't agree, personally I didn't vote in the poll because I play all jobs. And they are all equally geared, even so far as to be finishing up all relics to just have relics for all jobs. I occasionally roll a dice to see what I play, the job I am on most is usually whichever job i was last logged into and just hadn't changed yet.
Bump! I would really like to see a bigger sample size for this poll... Fill it out if you haven't already!:D
Remember, this is only poeple that are on the forums. I assume there are a ton of people that play this mainly on dps that have no interest in the forums.
True, but it's impossible to say without speculation who or what group of people aren't participating... I'd like to say it's a fairly accurate sub sample of all the players. But until SE releases some official statistics about job choices, level distribution, etc (which I am sure they will. They did in the past), this is the best we can do. And it's really interesting that the distribution of DPS is so even... almost exact. That's means either SE did a good job balancing, or it means no one has figured out which is best yet.
