ye the queue for dungeons is a pain in the butt, since its so easy to gain xp with fates, hardly anyone do dungeons more then once.

Joinin' the party! Or reserving entrance to the party? That seems to be the theme.

I can't tell if my character looks angry, bored, or dejected. The player? A bit of everything.

Actually, this is the exact opposite case. These people are queueing for AK, which people are running too much. So much that all of the instances are filled constantly, leading to these queue times. You'll notice that all of the party slots in these shots are filled, so that means they're not waiting for people, they're waiting for dungeon instances to open up.

SE just needs to add some Myth stones to Wanderer's Palace and I'd willingly run that over and over compared to AK.

Truth to power right there.

We can spend two hours (or more, I'm now up to 140 minutes) waiting in line to get into the one dungeon that's a stop-gap for higher tier gear, with no guarantee we'll end up with a group actually capable of doing it (unfortunately, I currently have to lean on duty finder) and netting the Mythology Tokens we're after.

I have no issue with AK being difficult, I have no issue if we fail the dungeon, I have no issue repeating it, and I have no issue with any other problems that show up along the way.

I totally have issue with waiting two hours just to find out if I I'm going to encounter all those other problems. I shouldn't feel lucky if I get 40 tokens in the space of two days of playing.

Killing AK speed runs only made the queues substantially worse.

What I'd like to see is level 50 only fates, lower than 50 cannot participate, only 50's can. Reward: Gold \ tomes \ seals \ items. That would help lessen the burden of Q's. But really, Q's should be instant, or within a couple min.

Can we also get rid of lag on Q's? nothing like a 1.5 second delay from a server action to me running (Titan HM anyone?)

Yeah, as soon as the cap resets, people are gonna spam the heck out of it to get it outta the way...guess I should wait a couple days. =/

People in FFXI had to shout and wait hours to build parties.

Modern MMO players don't have that kind of time. So if you only have 2 hours a night, instead of having to spend the entire time shouting for a party....

You can spend the entire time queued up.
The end result is the same but the new way is much less stressful.

The worst part is when the queue gets you in and OH WAIT.... one of the people didn't confirm in time... you have to wait even longer.

And you know what... I can't even blame those people... the duty finder lulls you to sleep and then BAM... You miss your window
