I'm generally quite helpful, I try my best to connect with the community. I started on this server with a small group and discovered many awesome individuals on this server. The community so far has been wonderful. Loving the game so far and I don't see that stopping anytime soon. I love to see it all and do it all. I'm a pretty reliable when it comes to guild inter-personal realtionships, but IRL i work off a spareboard, so I'm on call 24/7; and even though i might be on for 4 days straight, there's always that one day where I'll get called and I might miss out on a raid (hence, "pseudo"-hardcore, lol). Anyways, the game is still new, haven't really found my niche here; look me up if you think you need a tank in you future endgame plans.....

Other Stuff: My husband and i joined the game and server upon the request of a RL friend and his non-stop egging that it was a great game. Surprised he was right, but now we're hooked! My husband is running a Conjurer and will probably take Arcanist at some point. We're looking for a FC that plays in the PST time zone too!
We're old school WoW players (played since 2005, the good old days!) and were up until recently playing Neverwinter as well. FFXIV is proving to be a promising game for us and filling a deep MMO hole left by WoW. We're enjoying the group aspect of dungeons and the friendly atmosphere this server has. :)

Other Stuff: First FF mmo but played others for years. Yes I was a WoW player (very hardcore) for many years. My husband and I quit during MoP due to being bored and not liking the direction. Anyways we decided to try FF after getting beta keys and love it so far. Especially enjoying the challenge of end game. It is a breath of fresh air compared to what we were playing since we are hardcore vanilla/eq players. Outside the game my hubby is a disabled vet and I'm trying to go back to school while dealing with my own medical issues. I use to own my own art business doing commissions and he is in IT. We are just happy we picked an awesome server during beta and found a great FC with great people as well as all the awesome people we have met in our FF travels. I see a lot of threads about the negative aspects of the community in general discussions and while there are a lot of crappy people I wanna say Goblin is awesome since it seems the good far out way the bad!

This is my first MMO ever. So far it has been a great experience. Although playing it on PS3 can be a pain-in-the-butt sometime, since u can't really chat and do some other task at the same time and targeting system can be very frustrating. I get bored playing by myself sometimes, so is looking for some in game buddies to do some fate or dungeon together. I am still debating whether to join a FC or not, since I dont know what I can get out of joining FC. Hit me up to do some fate or dungeons. Cheers!!

My spouse and I have been looking for a MMO to play for a few years. We tried WoW for a couple, but I couldn't really get into it. I'd been keeping my eye on FFXIV and wanted to get in on version 1.0, but the reviews kept me away. Very glad I was able to get in on the beta; after that my spouse and I were sold. I absolutely love RPGs, with spotty experience in MMOs. Never leveled a WoW character past 20, played Dofus on and off for 2 years, and got into GW2 for about five months. I'm a self-proclaimed casual, but I'm probably closer to hardcore with how many hours I spend online - until someone tries to tell me that I have to do something, in which case I slide back into being casual about it.

I haven't gotten into Coil yet, but I love dungeons and group PvE in general. Poke me if you ever need a tank for anything, AK or Sastasha, whatever you like, if I'm not already busy I'll probably say yes. Look forward to seeing you guys on Goblin! :3
