Poll: If there was a card game in Gold Saucer, which one would you prefer?

So I read a post about upcoming patches, and Gold Saucer will be coming in 2.3 (hella long...) and one of the starting minigames would be a card game.

Which card game do you want most to make its way to ARR?

Triple Triad? Tetra Master? Or an entirely new card battle system?

I'll start off with Triple Triad. I think that game's amazing.

Triple Triad. Compared to Tetra Master Triple Triad actually made sense. Triple Triad was based on clear numbers and rules, whereas Tetra Master, well... I don't think the rules (or atleast what makes a strong card) were really explained anywhere in the game.. I think it also was a bit luck based with how good attack your card rolled.
Triple Triad also wins the battle between the theme songs.

Triple Triad would definitely be my preferred choice.

I'd prefer something that is influenced by CCGs like Magic the Gathering or the WoW:TCG. Or even Hearthstone since that's sort of fresh.

What, nobody wants Parley back? :-)

Hmm? What's this parley you spoke of? Is it something played by the pirates from Limsa?

parley was really close to being "so bad it's good" but it doesn't really send the right message when the entire game was a cluster

I'd rather have a completely new card game that fits FFXIV's world 0.0

i enjoyed Tetra Master :3

Just rip off hearthstone heroes lol. Use classic FF characters of legend as heroes (obviously Cloud, Bartz, Cecil, etc, etc) and use the mobs from the series as cards. It would add a whole 'nother level of addiction to the game lol.

I would like to see something new, but to choose between Tetra Master and Triple Triad, the latter wins out.

Triple Triad, definitely. I loved that game.

While it isn't a FF card game, I became pretty addicted to Platoon in Ni No Kuni. A game similar to that in the Gold Saucer would be fantastic.

Triple Triad HANDS DOWN. And they could even expand it more than just the card game, add a new parse to the hunting log, obtain rare cards with a card mod ability turning creatures into cards ect.

triple triad in final fantasy xiv means i would never be able to not be subbed to this game, lol.

Entirely new, not based on any of the previous. I havent liked any of the previous card games.

Triple Triad. With the same features of transforming enemies into cards and refining items from cards.

Wow I can just imagine having to do a Primal hard mode fight just to turn one into a card at the very end and get 1 copy of the card XD

Triple Triad with a FFXIV re-skin to cards. I'd adore getting to collect the cards as well as challenging friends in my FC or people on my server.

Option - Getting to play Triple Triad with people you are queued with in Duty Finder during that sometimes 10-30 min wait while it finds the last people to fill slots or an instance reservation to put you all in. Have it use special rules for speed games. Also this would help some with the problem of people queuing and then going AFK during the wait and missing instance start notification or hitting the auto-logout timer.

Sorry for reviving the thread, but I'm really happy to see so many people loving triple triad! I wonder if we make enough noise SE could consider putting it as one of the minigames in the future gold saucer? XD
