Patch 2.1 Good King Moggle Mog Returns

Patch 2.1

Good King Moogle Mog will returning as a boss fight. More than likely he will be accessible through the duty finder. Please look forward to it.

A new difficulty for Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan fights will be added in this patch as well.

They haven’t quite decided if they’ll call them hard, super, ultra, extreme, or any other awesome intense name. I can see it now. “Ifrit, for real this time”.

Two hard level dungeons and the Crystal Tower, a 24-man raid dungeon, will be added.

Also new Hildibrand quests and FATEs are being added. If you didn’t know, Hildibrand was a comic relief NPC from version 1.0. He has his own… unique sense of humor.

The Wolves Den, a 4v4 and 8v8 arena will be opening in this patch. You can travel to it by boat from Lower La Noscea, and to enter the arena you must use the Duty Finder.

And lastly, Mists, the La Noscea player housing region will be unlocked in 2.1. Houses are available to Free Companies and individual players for a monetary value.

This is pretty awesome! I am so excited for future content! (and I am not even done with current content!)

Heh. This song. Anyone else get Nightmare Before Christmas vibes from it? (+ of course the old moogle theme is there as well) ;D I didn't play 1.0, but I'm looking for this battle.

The battle was fun... and oh my god such a clusterf~. I mean, having the innkeeper wake me up just to tell me there are thie-what? This isn't about Hildebrande? King Moggle Mog? Psh, he was a scrub! Honestly, the King Moggle Mog fight was an exercise in kite tanking. You tank had to keep hate while the rest of the party picked off the moogle minions one by one, making sure not to get hit by the Good King's attacks as each dead moogle gave him a new attack. After that it was just a spam fest to drop the King. Oh, and you had to kill all the moogles in the first 5 minutes or the subsequent King Summon would wipe the party.

Also, though it won't be until Patch 2.3 or later, I'm looking forward to Gold Saucer. Man, I know it might end up being cheesy if they put it in, but I want a snowboarding game. Also, I think they should keep the original Gold Saucer music.

Ya the song is great and it would be awesome if they release patch 2.1 in october due to how Good King Moggle Mog's theme is similar to Nightmare before Christmas.

They can have October be Mooglween for their October events with Good King Moggle Mog FATE Battle spawning all over Eorzea giving special Mooglween event items..

Too many post in the front ruffling people's fluff now.
