Scholar healing book from Ifrit

Is anyone else having trouble getting this item. I have done this fight atleast 40 times and I have yet to even see the drop.

It's just RNG, i got mine like on the 6-7th try. Just keep at it I guess.

Lol, well naturally after I ask on the forums I find teh damn thing!

I got mine on my first try.

One dropped after 8th try, but we were 2 scholars in the group, and he won.
Took me another 21 tries to see the drop again, and this time I got it :)

Dropped for me after 78 tries lol, just luck of the RNG.

trying for garuda I'm on run #39 without even seeing it...All in the RNG

Same, and then I got garuda healing book on the first try. Wasn't so lucky with titan tho.

Don't bother and move on to Garuda. we had to run her over 50 times to get two scholar books for our group. You may as well be farming Garuda than Ifrit and score yourself the better book for your troubles.

Yeh took me about 9 to 10 runs to get mine I think, although I saw the summoner book ALOT got me excited like " HELL YEAH" only to realize It was no use to me :(

I want to farm Garuda but whenever they see people with a crappy book / non darklight gear, they will just leave right away, or they'll just ask me to leave and they can 7 man it and they don't want to "feed" a non geared person a book if it does drop

Have met very horrible players ..

on the Ifrit side
70 rounds into ifrit and I haven't seen a single book..
Kind of disappointing..All I ever see are battleaxes and swords..
I saw THM weapon twice..CNJ once
LNC 4 times..

rest were battleaxe and sword..

I feel the game hates me =/

I was dreadfully lucky...

I got all three primal SCH books on the first win of their respective fights. .__. It's just RNG.

Update: did my garuda HM and Titan HM runs for my relic Bam got both of their books.

I got lucky with Duty Finder once. I registered alone, ended up in a JP party that didn't wipe (and someone was using a sound effect to warn of the AOE you have to get close for, every time). And the drop at the end was an Ifrit's Codex and I was the only Scholar.

The reason for farming Ifrit for a weapon is the fact that Ifrit HM is actually approachable with AF. In Garuda HM people are just going to cry about your gear.

I got mine after quite a few tries. But, the only "repeat" drop I was was the Paladin sword. All other times it was pretty random and fair imo.

SCH ifrit book is a bad save some time and pass at another project

I am surprised... it seems like the primals just rain books. I even got them on my whm, because the SCH already had them... along with half the raiding group.

Books, books, books... everywhere..

You can get books from bosses?

I got mine on my Dragoon, which is good since I was planning to make scholar my second 50 anyways :p
