Macro command /wait xx needs to allow two decimal precision

Hi,
the macro command /wait currently accepts only 'whole number' digits between 0 and 60 as parameter.
GUI interface (ie hotbars) displays ability and spell cast/recast times to two decimal places (ie, my "Summon" spell cast time is 5.91 seconds).
If you use one or two decimal places in your /wait macro, the number will be rounded to zero decimal places by the game interface.
Queuing of abilities allows you to use ability 0.5s before global cooldown is ready, which means, if I was using "Summon" as part of my macro, I could execute next ability after 5.41 seconds.
But because the macro GUI uses only whole numbers, I need to /wait 6
I was just robbed of 0.59s of my life (or 9.83% of it, in the long term).
If I was doing Titan (Hard) and spamming "Summon" was the difference between win and lose:

I could cast the spell manually approximately 227 times.
Using the in-game macro system, I could cast the same spell only approximately 211 times. (1800 seconds divided by spell cast time and 2.5s global cooldown).
'Whole number' macro is a relic from FFXI and the world has sped up since 11 years ago.

The conclusion:
Please allow us to use /wait xx.xx in macros instead of /wait xx

The decimal were active in beta 3, removed from beta 4 because of "third party program" ...

Need the decimal back.

Would you happen to have a link to Dev's reasoning for doing so? I'm really interested to see how it came to be. I don't see how it would have anything to do with any 'third party program'.
It didn't prevent server crashes from Odin/Behemoth FATE nor constant RMT spam I'm getting in tells or in cities, so...

I am going to support this, more so as a PS3 player. If the problem with having decimals is because of a third party program issue, that should not matter on the PS3. Since there are already differences between the PC/PS3 version, this should be allowed to happen on PS3.

To give more of a reason, on PS3 we are limited with the cross bar and having to switch sets if we want to use more. The macros can free up much needed space to the point that someone might not even need to use a second set. Unfortunately because the macros just round the decimals we are losing precious time. Having to switch sets is also using up fractions of a second besides having to alter any button combination press. While there is a macro command for switching hotbars it could become a confusing mess depending on what needs to be done at any given time.

The other notable reason is equipment increases skill speed BY DECIMAL PLACES! This benefit is completely lost if anyone uses macros for certain abilities.

If the decimal itself is problematic for SE, they could always have it work in milliseconds.

So instead of having to type 1.5 you can type 1500. No decimal needed.

Icon is True, upon successfully landing the attack it changes to Vorpal, successfully landing that changes to Full, land that or combo timer runs out it defaults back to True.

Making it a customizable macro command would let it be usable for combos that aren't completely linear (PLD/WAR).

MNK can imitate this atm with redundancy macros and it's incredibly useful but still flawed, there needs to be a game function to allow this. It would go a long ... way toward helping the xbar limitation issues for controller/PS3 players.

Please bring back the decimals, and instant abilities should not require a /wait since they're hmm you know instant ...

Third party programs and bots could not care less having to wait 3 seconds instead of 2.2, we Players do care.

I'm going to necro this because there is no good reason not to.

I agree with this. What's the point of macros if you can't use them for 80% of the useful content then what's the point?

As far as bots go who cares? If a few people want to cheat let them, it doesn't affect me in the least.

I made a macro for firing off a bunch of abilities, just to learn it is faster to do it all manually...

i had put up a post asking for something like this...well if they couldnt do it, add the 10th of a second in there. Basically a <cooldown> command that /wait's your cooldown at the time. So if it gets changed from a buff, it self adjusts. Not sure why this isnt in there already and why its being ignored....such a fricken help when you can string like the drg combo's together and not waste 6 slots on my cross bar.

Come-on SE, geter done.
