Sorry, I used search function over and over again and googled it, but found no solution. Just now got disconnected and it just happened, plus my character's image does not appear anymore. Tried relogging, and it shows the world map instead of the city loading screen, and eventually error 1016.
Me too, from tonberry too. Was in titan hard mode -.-
Same thing happened to me on Tonberry and everyone else I was talking to and in party with. After the 90k I got this error, a 1017 and then back to 1016. Happened just as we entered Chimera for the relic weapon quest.
World server is down.
Also on Tonberry. It happened about 20 minutes ago and I haven't been able to get back in yet, looks like the same problem all you guys are having.

I'm playing on tonberry too when suddenly this happen -__-
I'm glad it's not just me. At least I know it's not my character being deleted all of a sudden :)
What made me curious though was if I checked anywhere it would say Tonberry is up. I was quite surprised that I almost got in at 1886 queue :D Then 1016 happened.
Tonberrian here too. 90000, then alternating 1017 and 1016, and the character doesn't display in the character select screen.
Same thing happened to me, I guess Tonberry exploded into a thousand little pieces for a bit

got error 1016, restarted client, now im getting error 1014
Chef's Knife does 99999999 damage.
Got kicked 90000 > 1014, 1016, 1017 and then Unable to obtain... GEEZ
and we're back! no more grudge! :))

Characters don't fully load on character select screen.
World Data won't load, other characters on other NA servers load up fine.
