Increase GP return rate

When gathering, if you hit the +1 attempt node and use a ward, you can then go to the other 3 nodes, complete the circuit and go through it again. When you did it twice you had enough GP to use Ward again, back when nodes hat 6 tic's. The new 4 tic nodes doesn't allow you to make the 3 shard pull on the increased Gathering node, every second round. I have around 330 back.

I'm going to guesstimate and say the GP recovery needs to be 30% more than what it is to keep up with the transition from 6 tic to 4 tic.

I'd like it if the GP recovery rate was a bit faster as well. v-v;

It also makes Brunt Force and such nearly useless - requiring 5 hits in a row to use it at all... when you only get 4 per spot base.

I noticed this one almost right after the patch. It indicated to me they were running blind and not putting any thought in to changes they make to the game. That one wasn't even elusive.

Someone have suggested it before in another thread, but if gathering jewelry had "+ X GP regeneration" on it instead of actual GP, that would be so much better.

But I do agree, GP regeneration is just too slow... Its like watching grass grow, and I "only" have 500 GP at 32 to fill atm. Would hate to think about an empty GP pool at lvl 50. yikes.

I agree with the comments about Brunt Force. As it is, it's only usable with +1 nodes, and you also have to use a skill to grant another gathering attempt.

Edit: I also agree about +GP being pretty much worthless.

I was thinking about this...wouldn't it be more beneficial to have faster GP regen than just + GP on stones you can add? Really + GP doesn't help at all.

Yes they need to do something. 7 attempts would be nice. And I increased gp regen

Sorry to Necro an old thread, but this issue still bugs me when gathering which I was doing a search. I'm a game designer myself here in SF and even I don't get the slow GP regen that this continues to have against other ability subtractions. The slow gain makes me most of the time not want to bother using any of them. It just reeks of in need of a tweaking as it feels currently imbalanced.

Maybe make Cordial (potion restores 300 GP) a craftable recipe?.

That should be nice with the current GP return rate.

just my opinion... cordial do make getting back GP a little better since they dont cost tooo much anyways, so GP regain really do feel that slow to you; use it. but if they increase GP regen rate, that just means materials for crafting just gonna drop in cost, sure there might be less falling asleep waiting for GP to regain but I rather my items have more value than the other.

Hey did they come up with a cordial recipe yet? If not we should ask SQUARE to make one.

When we were discussing it, it was already a necro in January.. :) we have ways to have cordials more easily since then.

But to answer your question no recipe was created.
As for imagining a recipe, I am afraid it would be 3 stars.

Cordials are cheap enough on the MB.
