Female Miqo'te

With the new swim suits out, I really hope we can get some more rump( badonk, butt, ass, cheeks, bumbum) to fill out our clothes.

The lack of a bottom does nothing to appease me.

Hoveurt, I worked out whats wrong with our 2.0 Miquo'tes, it's not just the lower body.

It seems that our characters have been altered to have a more catlike appearance/ body structure in attempts to probably match them more with the Male Miquo'te they added.

I don't think the female should have been altered, it's kind of harsh to old players.

Rather than spend all day staring at the collection of little colored dots that makes up your player's rear end, why not play the game itself? The Miqo'te are hunters, they are not a fancy, civilized people. You know what "curves" are? They're over 90% fat. Oddly enough, I don't think the Miqo'te would have much fat at all on them.

It's depressing, how perverts are taking over the gaming community.

For me it's not even about something as perverted as the majority are taking it, it's more about the change in my characters over all appearance.

I am not happy with my Cat Girl turning out like a literal cat girl, she previously had a way more humanly shaped body but now it looks hideous in comparison to the normal Human shape.

In appreciation for the female human anatomy I'm disappointed about this alteration.

I dont know how you could play a female toon, its so gay looking at a female's ass all-day, homos.

I think the thighs should maybe be a little thicker, but for the specific reason that lorewise Miqo'te are supposed to have powerful leg muscles from their lifestyle of hunting. Aside from that I can't really say they look too different from the previous Miqo'te models other than feeling a bit too anorexic I guess may be the term? They should be limber and light, true. But they their legs in particular look a little too thin and/or lacking the proper muscle tone for what they should have.

IMO if people want a character with a bigger bottom or bigger boobs why not play a different race? You picked Miqo'te because they are cat people, healthy cats are not fat.

Go roll a Hyur girl if it bothers you so much OP >.>. Or roll an Elezen girl if you want bigger boobs.

Some people played on there Miquo'te for a very long duration of time, they had grown accustomed to there characters appearance.

A sudden massive change like this and simply changing your race just doesn't feel right, we need options not be forced away from our personal preference.

And for the record, Miquo'te were never supposed to have bodys that represent a cat, only there tail, ears and eyes did. Everything else was in perfect human structure and shape.

Not that this is related at all, but if you want boobs, play a Highlander Hyur. Elezen are not gifted in that way at all. And, really, remembering how Miqo'te looked in 1.0 I think this new look is an improvement. Before they had 'them birthing hips', it was weird. Of course, I play an Elezen so I can't exactly comment too much.

I like my Kitty just the way she is - shoo shoo from female Miqo'tes.

If you need a toon with big boobs try age of conan if its still alive -at least at start of that game i remember groups of sexualy unsatisfied men running half naked females chars with naked big boobs out - dont know if you can still do it - stoped playing darn crash king ages ago.

It's a really bad desine choice because the Mithra and Miquo'te race's body shape was a specfic way for 11+ years changing it now to be this way is the same as making Vira a fox instead of a bunny it's just not correct to the race.

Also, what about players who are a fan of the orrigonal style and had played for years, I have been supporting this game since day one.

My character's body should not have been changed this massively, it's not even correct to the race!

It's actually kind of weird if you ask me, I'm not a fan of this change one bit. I want my human shaped Miquo'te back.

We deserve the right to have this option as previous players of the game.

I find the fact that my woman character is now shaped closer to represent the cat to be way more weird.

Who decided this, and when did this change happen? I don't even think I remember it being this way in the really early beta stages.

I for one would like a larger crotch bulge on my miqu'ote. Maybe make it so it grows larger as you level up / beat storyline missions.

I like Miqo'te. They represent my body type perfectly. I like that a 'petite' frame is represented in a videogame, because it's usually big butts and big boobs on every single female race. For people who do not like the 'new' Miqo'te look, you were just given a free appearance change so at least you aren't 'stuck' with what you have now.

I noticed this too. I put a bathing suit on my Male Hyur character and if you only look from the waist down there is no real indication it's a man. Where's my junk??

I spent plenty of time using PlasticSurgeon to play as a Mithra. They curves were on par with the current Miqo'te model, if not a little less, and they had FAR more feline qualities. If you think for a moment the miqo'te models are a direct rip from XI, you're in denial.

The Mithra had more feline features but it's body remained human shaped, for the most part.

The orrigonal Miquo'te was supposed to share slight simularties to the Mithra but it had less feline features and was more dominantly Human than cat in it's body shape.

Miquo'te it has the same curves from the front as 2.0, well slightly less from a from this front on appearance but to the side it looks completely different now.

What I've learned from this thread: Too many people spend way too much time staring at their undressed characters.

And Vandark, the changes are not that huge. Go ahead and make the exact same character, put her in the exact same outfit, in the exact same pose (and I mean the EXACT angle and everything), in the exact same lighting, and the differences will be miniscule. Yes, I'm pretty sure they are less rotund in the arse, but they are not worthy of this type of reaction.

Being female, you learn what angles and lighting work best for you. Many factors can come into play, so unless you have an identical comparison, it will always be flawed.

Lastly, even if I am abnormally blind to what you're raving about, heaven forbid that a cat-race look more cat-like. -.-

The last thread about this was far more entertaining. The OP actually drew lines on pictures of 1.0 and 2.0 miqo'te to show how the back/butt curves had changed.

Maybe I don't spend much time staring at my character's butt or boobs. Maybe it's because I can't relate to her that much anyway... I mean, she has cat ears and a tail... and we're arguing about her curviness. =P

Honestly all I have to say about it now really is that the 1.0 Miquo'te reams over Mithra and owns over 2.0 ARR Miquo'te completely.

A gaming community with "perverts" are not a hurtful thing. A gaming community with people jumping on other's throat on the tiniest little opinion is what makes a community bad.

Highlanders and Humans have buff sliders, why can't Cats have butt sliders? It's only fair.

It's not just Miqo'te, I'm pretty sure all of the females have that pancake thing going on when it wasn't like that in 1.0. I do think people are overexaggerating just a little bit though. They were certainly "fuller" in 1.0, but they by no means look terrible right now. And the vast majority of the game's current gear covers pretty well so it's not like you can tell a difference without stripping down anyway.

It's like this hey, yes the model has changed dramatically from the 1.0 Miquo'te in forms of fullness.
Players who wish there character still had the same appearance and body shape as the 1.0 Miquo'te should have an option to better resemble that appearance.
I don't like this new thin, lien appearance for my character.

I think instead of a muscular slider they could have a slider for the Miquo'te that gives it more wait in it's legs, hips and backside.

i am a female and i like that my miqo'te is skinny and lean. i don't want to stare at her T&A and i don't want her to have "healthy muscular thighs". No thanx!!

maybe SE will add the option to choose your own body size for chars at some point. i doubt it, but i hope they don't change miqo'te, i like mine the way she is. if i wake up one day and log on and she's curvy i'm going to be upset. didn't make her for the sex appeal!! :cool:

You like your character how it is right, and you admitted yourself you would be upset if it changed, thats exactly how I feel right now.

Our 1.0 characters has been changed to suit others but we don't have a choice and have lost what we were currently already happy with.

There should have been choices implemented to suit everyone not just one side.

I didn't dislike 1.0 I loved the game I thought it was awesome, I preferred the art design of the 1.0 Female Miquo'te and at the very least I would like my character to appear in ARR in every shape and form that was her glory.

An option for the old shape should have remained for 1.0 players and for players with Legacy status.

We have come from a different world/time/game, it kinda even makes sense that we would look different.
Like we are of a different breed.

Actually.. the rear is the first thing I noticed, then I noticed the entire spinal structure has changed.
The spine used to be strait like a humans back but now it's concaved.
At first I thought it was the lower body only but I was incorrect, the entire model has changed in shape and fullness.

It dose make sense to me why they have crippled the Miquo'te's beauty, they clearly wanted less people to choose it.

In 1.0 the world was basically over run with Female Miquo'te lol.
