Seriously....SE needs to fix this crap

Friend and I were doing levequest in broken water and we died on 3 stars and i was left after he died but for some reason when I died the gnats started to camp him at the camp while he was weakened. Before I knew it I was getting camped by both too and we kept getting one shotted. Couldn't log out, change difficulty, and our only hope was to abandon but I could only abandon because he had to distract em so I could. After that he got infinitely camped....he would return, gnats would look at him, one shot, and rinse and repeat. This needs to be dealt with.

That seems more like bad luck if true.

Yeah this can happen

sometimes the mobs dont have a patrol zone like they are supposed to when they spawn, i know the mongrel level at iron lake can do this too

This only happens when the leve spawns enemies at the end and the party wipes. Had the same thing happen in Cedarwood with Fire Elementals and in Nine Ivies with a Plasma Spark and VultureTrap

Seen this happen before with the same leve but it only happens if you try to run from the gnats oddly they follow you and never reset.

LoL. I saw this happen to a guy soloing this leve he was dead even before the raise animation appeared, I think he just logged out in the end.

yeah a couple of mobs have no leash.

Yea this can happen since some mobs do not have a set territory. I know there are coblins in a leve(believe camp drybone) that will follow you anywhere you go until you die. They seriously chased me back almost back to Ul'dah before they killed me. I was able to lower the difficulty but I had to also hunt and find those Coblins before time ran out since they were not shown on the map.

I nearly had this happen. I was on my first levequest and I didn't notice I targeted a Dodo and had to run back to camp. XD It was funny though. Lucky the second I hit the camp It turned around.

I've had this happen before. The best way to solve this is to all rez at the same time and try to turn the leve difficulty down. Had to do this when some idiot put it on 4* without a proper group for it and we finished with a minute left.

I had this happen months ago, a swarm of bee's kept attacking me and my group while at camp, we got lucky and they got stuck on the camp tent for a while so we were able to regroup. You would think that they could make it so you can't be attacked in the camps or have a sort of guard that kills off stuff that wonders in. Though I do understand that people could abuse this.

Happened to me twice from leves and its real BS. Also happened with an ant near horizon, 3 days ago, following me all the way to Uldah (wasent even a leve mob)... killed the annoying bastard at the gates =/
